That one person highkey blaming people's EDs onto idols dieting honestly should seek help. You can't blame your issues onto other people. I know it's part of the illness, but that's why you need to seek serious help for it. Blaming idols for your issues with your own self-image is concerning and is highkey body shaming them. Saying idols are TOO skinny is still potentially hurtful if idols were to hear that. Definitely talk to a professional if you struggle with yourself and your own thoughts. Stay safe
So, I'm attempting to nicely explain this: As for that "all generations are different", we have different reasons than you think. There's no point in accepting music getting objectively worse over time over an industry we helped creating getting bigger. What us 2nd gen and 3rd gen want is just the same quality that we are used to. We don't want the same trends, the same groups or the same sounds. We're just struggling with the tiktokification of kpop, I guess. We want proper vocals, proper bridges, 3:30 min songs etc. We don't per se hate any 4th and 5th gen groups. We want their companies to be less cheap on the production and idol training costs, because we've been used to better and we deserve better. Even the idols themselves deserve better.

I feel like the only example I can think of with OP's point about certain idols being unecessarily positioned at the front of choreo due to favouritism is AOA's confused, where Seolhyun is in the center during the chorus despite choa basically singing all of it and being placed at the side of the formation.
