I consider myself really lucky to have had a lot of conversations with Charlie throughout the years. I met him when I was 19 and he showed me how to play cheap wine in the back yard of a tiny bar. Even played a few shows with him!

Outstanding interview and wonderful notes on his style. I’ve been a beginner for a decade or two but I just discovered that minor key trick with the slide from some other UA-cam video last year and I’ve had an amazing amount of fun with that. Btw if you can’t get Charlie to do a Halloween live stream with you as Gandalf and Frodo you’re doing the world a great disservice.

Pretty sure I won’t get a response but what brand slide is Charlie using in this video, I heard a brand name but couldn’t make it out 100% and what I think I heard doesn’t come up in searches. Great video!!
