11:17 That is definitely Scott Menville... Robin from Teen Titans, Kevin French from Mission Hill, Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia. I never knew realized that was him from when I used to play this game.
@@TheLibrarianYTI've got a tip for you, you can get to the bus for free in Tranzit by finding pieces to a turbine in the bus stop. In most of the areas, there are workbenches that you can build things in when you have all the right pieces. There's also hidden areas in the fog, and much more. Also, you should try COD Infinite Warfare Zombies. Each map in that is like an old horror movie, and each one has an optional sort of story mode. My personal favorite is Attack Of The Radioactive Thing, which is a Godzilla inspired one. It starts off in black and white, but you can find a lever that brings color back I think. But I'm pretty sure all the maps are DLC except for the starting one, being Zombies In Spaceland.
I picked up on Marlton having the same VA as Robin pretty early on, it was one of the two reasons I always wanted to play as him. The other reason was because of his cool ass calculator watch lol
WE NEED MORE COD. The lore in this game is insanely deep and the game is basically unrecognizable with the amount of mechanics and gameplay changes that have happened since world at war. You need to do more zombies weather it’s on BO2 or another COD there’s SO much you can still learn
You know what this makes me _really_ miss? WAW Zombies on the PS3. That was my jam back around middle school. I mostly played BO2 zombies on my brothers Xbox 360 in high school. Man I miss those days.
It might sound weird but I think this is just adorable like its just so cute how oblivious he is to everything, especially when Im a chronic Green Run player and know just about everything about the maps. This isn't meant to be negative or anything, like it really warms my heart to see something like this with one of my favorite games ever.
HUGE COD zombies fan here! I was NOT expecting to ever see a video of you playing zombies, let alone on the same game that got me started on it, but I'm so glad you decided to give it another shot. If you have any desire to play some of the newer games I can't recommend Black Ops 3 and WW2 enough. Black Ops 3 has a MASSIVE modding community on steam that creates some of the best content the game has recieved, including brand new experiences- one of the best and most terrifying ones being Nightmare which almost plays more like a Resident Evil game than COD zombies, and fan made remakes of older official COD zombies maps like Call of the Dead(Which features Danny Trejo, Robert England, Michael Rooker, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and even George Romero himself as the map's Boss Zombie). Some other smaller scale community made maps that I think you'd enjoy include: Night of the Living Dead(a nearly 1-1 remake of the house from said film), The Winchester(a nearly 1-1 remake of The Winchester Pub from Shaun of the Dead), Scape(genuinely one of the eeriest takes on the Backrooms I've seen), Liminal Pool(very chill and aesthetic Pool Rooms map), and We Don't Go to Ravenholm(Another 1-1 recreation that uses textures and models from Half-Life 2). WW2's zombies mode is easily the most horror based of them all, a lot of the same devs who made Deadspace worked on it and it shows. It's very story focused, with a proper tutorial to introduce you to the games' mechanics and story. The overall look and feel of the game is much more gritty than any of the other COD Zombies games and the models for the zombies are genuinely unnerving to look at. Oh, and also you can play as David Tennant.
Oh man, seeing someone who has a little knowledge about cod zombies is so entertaining and so wholesome for some reason, mr Librarian, please keep making cod zombies content🙏
If you manage to stick with Zombies long enough to make it to Mob of the Dead, then you’re going to be in for a veritable feast of environmental storytelling and alarmingly deep characters
I have definitely clicked on a Librarian video this fast before, but I've also never done so with my head tilted at a 90 degree angle of confusion before.
No shot!! Cod zombies is so good, the environmental storytelling on some of the maps is actually superb, especially on Bo1 and WaW. Its good fun with friends, if you ever come back to this I definitely recommend the map Kino Der Toten there's tons of creepy and subtle easter eggs on that map and its considered one of the best zombies maps of all time.
CoD Zombies was the LAST thing I would’ve expected you to cover but I am genuinely SO HAPPY you are! Zombies and BO2 Zombies specifically are a huge part of my childhood, so I expect this video to be a blast!
Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles incudes all maps from WaW and Bo1 redone in a new engine. It's certainly easier and new player friendly but the higher graphics and increased saturation loses out some creepiness on the maps. Especially Kino and Verrukt. But Black Ops 1 includes the WaW maps with its improved gameplay so consider that. Love seeing this. Also its refreshing to see someone who is new to playing zombies.
The notification of this made me light up so much. The world of COD Zombies goes so much more than it appears and there is such an abundance of content throughout the series. Many of the DLC maps in this game mark a turning point in zombies lore and mechanics, and continuing to Black Ops 3 zombies makes things more interesting as well. I think I speak for many when I say we would love more COD zombies content!
this gave me flashbacks of how me and my buddies used to play hours on ps3, in 4player splitscreen and tried to figure out all the secrets, the fun was unmatched, tranzit really was my childhood
it would be cool to see you play more zombies, maybe with some buddies. I think black ops 1 has the creepiest atmosphere by far so maybe that would be a better fit for the channel. I have some tips for you if you do play more: The mystery box is basically your key to victory, regardless of which game you’re playing. Sure it’s a gamble but the chances to get an extremely powerful weapon are higher than you think. They also contain “wonder weapons” you’ll know them when you see them because usually they are some sci-fi mumbo jumbo lookin thing. The Raygun is available on nearly every map in the box alongside the unique wonder weapons The blue vending machine lets you revive yourself instantly if you die in singleplayer, it’s pretty essential The red vending machine increases the amount of hits you can take before you die from 2 to 3, it might not sound like much but it makes a huge difference The pack a punch (the machine in the lava you saw) will upgrade whatever weapon you are holding, but it costs 5000 points Machine guns are usually the most effective weapons to have because they hold the most ammo, and because zombies gain more health as rounds go on you’re gonna need weapons with high ammo capacities to survive
Got through that mannequin portal mod with a startle or two and never had nightmares from any games you've played yet, but this is going to be *so worth* the weeks of nightmares that I *know I'm going to get*.
Damn, out of all games that I thought you would play, I never expected to see you play Black Ops 2 Zombies. I remember playing the hell out of this game with my friends on my Xbox 360. It was really fun. You really should check out the other COD Zombies they made. And if you can emulate it, you should check out Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare. It's really good.
I really hope you try out some of the more complex maps. There's a lot of things to do, so they're not repetitive at all. You can also upgrade your weapons, buy perks, get easter eggs, complete challenges, etc. You can work towards something, and that's the big reason why Zombies was so loved for so much time
Don't know if you plan to revisit it but if you do, here's some advice. So, in Tranzit when it says you need a power source to open certain doors, you need to built the Turbine, which you do in the spawning room on round 1 by bringing three parts to the workbench. Placing the Turbine next to specific doors will open them. You can get out of the starting room without using your points by using the Turbine.
It's been about a month or so since I've gotten back into Treyarch Zombies so major coincidence that you're playing it now as well! There's so many great maps in all of the games. World At War and Black Ops 1 are really famous for being more focused on the horror aspect but the rest do a great job conveying it as well. Funny that you put out this vid, not even 3 hours ago was going on a rant of how great zombies used to be up until the modern day where the newer modes don't even feel like the same game type. Zombies has been a large part of my gaming life all the way back starting in 08 with world at war. Starting with BO2 zombies is a great starting point back when things could still be simple but have so much depth if you know where to look for it and can piece together small clues. the previous and later black ops games also had the mode, and fun fact, is the reason we don't have that standalone game. Treyarc shot that idea down around the early 2010's fearing people would be less likely to buy the later games if this mode was given its own standalone game.
I really enjoyed and was horrified of playing zombies in Black Ops I. The atmosphere and look of Kino Der Toten scared the utter hell out of me and idk how but it still does. In World At War, Nacht Der Untoten did the same thing. Some of the scariest maps to me personally athletically was: Kino Der Toten, Nacht Der Untoten, Shi No Numa, Verrückt, Der Riese, Five, Mob of the Dead, Origins, and Buried. Those are the main scary maps. Moon and Ascension is a little spooky because knowing how isolated you are and looking back at the earth knowing what it's come to is kinda spooky but almost cartoony with zombies on there. Ascension's map format is chaotic to me.

i just failed to fall sleep because of overstress and you just come up with most unexpected video ever, thank you for this, i think it will calm me a lot XD
For the one's that actually didn't know: The fog and the Denizens in Tranzit are only there because the Engine couldn't handle the size of the map and would crash the game if you ran through the fog without the denizens stopping you
Hey, I don't know if you knew but there's theme songs for all the perks, which is that stamin-up and quick revive stuff, their like bottles, they all have theme songs and their pretty snazzy.
Got here recommended by a friend, starting to watch now but first thing i wanna comment is that World At War and Black Ops are way more creepy with the sound design if the channel's idea is to show creepy stuff.
Also, if you're ever in the mood to go through it, black ops 3 has a zombies Chronicles DLC which is probably my favorite way of playing through the best of what the game mode has to offer
Remember, the strategy is to never stop moving. And if you wanna do the story, look out for items/compartments on the ground/wall/ceiling that stands out and DO explore
I didn't expect a cod zombies video from the librarian but I hope you continue playing zombies (specifically on black ops 2 with the map mob of the dead. That one is a great one.) if you want atmosphere and the spook factor, please continue playing the black ops 2 version of cod zombies.
This is great. Dunno if this is a one time deal or you’ll do more in the future but to watch my favorite youtuber play my favorite game mode in 2024 is glorious. The only thing I could recommend is buy some perks.
It's kind of funny seeing you get "back into zombies" with the base Bo2 Zombies experience, since Tranzit and the associated survival maps are often seen as some of the weakest zombies experiences in the mode's history. You did seem to enjoy it regardless which is great! I do appreciate the ambition of Tranzit but it did fall flat for me due to a lot of weird and janky mechanics involved in the mode. Plus when I first got the game, the game itself would always crash trying to load the mode up. At least now I can go back and take a look at Tranzit proper, and still have my fun with it

Zombies? Oh hell yea. I was so diehard into zombies since WaW. Really into the custom zombies scene as well. It's unfortunate what has happened to the mode in modern games

Hearing "Damened" again on the Zombies menu will always hit me in the nostalgia feels super hard.
Ways to get power is to go into the outhouse next to the powerplant (I'm serious) or collect mannequin and fan in the Bus depot and hold F on the worksmith table.on the right of the depot's exit.
The round change/start music from the world at war campain spasificaly the mission heart of the rich.
When you played Tranzit, the nerdy kid’s VA voiced Robin.
Hellllloooooo librarian! Hope youre doing fine! Slowly slowly getting my computer fixed, happy that im gonna see my brother from newyork next weekend! Wish you the best
As a HUUUUUGE COD: Zombies fan, I'm so glad (and surprised) that the one and only Librarian actually made a video on BO2 Zombies.
Edit: If you want to play more maps, there are DLC maps you can buy.
If you ever play this again you can find that "Source of power" at the very beginning, you just have to build it
And melee kills give more money, which is consistent across all the games
Awesome. I'd also recommend playing the WAW maps if you really want an exploration in atmosphere.
The nostalgia is crazy
Zombies? Oh hell yea. I was so diehard into zombies since WaW. Really into the custom zombies scene as well. It's unfortunate what has happened to the mode in modern games
We need more Videos to COD Zombies omg!
Oh you should definitely also check out Cod WW2 Zombies with its Horror vibes
Tranzit is the ultimate zombie map. I had double skull shotgun and so many friends maxed out on my psn account. it was the height of zombies
HOLY SHIT!! YOU ACTUALLY PLAYED CALL OF DUTY??? What an unexpected suprise!
I literally pogged
Oh no the cursed of overpowered gun creepypasta
