element isnt that good on valstrax since he takes 0 element damage once he gets enraged so raw is more consistent. he does take element damage on his claws so some weapons can do more damage that way if you can consistently hit them but thats pretty hard to do and its not that practical for switch axe so raw is better here.

the hunter notes dont tell you but theres places online that you can search up. i use kiranico to look up more accurate info about the monsters before i try a run
