Got the 3 door from 2003. Best Engine u can get...first car and still driving it. Recently cracked the 200k and shes running and running and running...^^
This is one of the wors driving styles I've ever seen BUT, the shifting is actually spot on, that shows great skills, hoping you don't shift like that everyday xD

1.9TDI the best or nothing I only drive 1.9tdi‘s. My first Car was a MK5 1.9TDI 105hp. Now over 400.000km. Back in the days i chipped it, to 170hp. And this MF was as fast as an A6!. With a consumption of a Smart. I only drive the 1.9tdi I have 7Cars, 7times 1.9TDI Best Engine in reliability and sound(for a diesel). Even in stock condition, they have enough power, and of course torque💪🏻
Currently running a 2009 2.0 TDI S-Line thing pulls like a steam train in all gears , brilliant car built like a tank and is fairly good on fuel too Although i am being tempted by an S3 of similar age , which my wallet will regret dearly haha
Great video, but I don't feel the reason for having TDi engine in a small sporty car. It definitely needs a TFSI or TSI engine for having fun with that. Also 2.0 TDI engines are way more powerful but newer models 150-190 hp and gives 340+ NM of torgue from VW group. So at all I think this 1.9 TDI family from old times makes things so eco friendly with their 105 hp, and thats why it lives so long. Anyway my 1.6 non vtec 1999 coupe Civic have better power/weight ratio and way more fun to drive and for sound after 4000 rpm where TDI dies out, and its without any turbo... But thats only my opinion...
@@Galagalazivot Ok, if your target is this then it can be your perfect solution, just keep it factory and don't use any other custom made program. They can easily kill the reliability of the engine. Keep it clean and stock and always use quality oil and filter and change it regularly every 15.000 km at least thats my suggestion only. Here in Hungary tons of kids kills these engines with custom mapping and turning it to 150+ hp, then turbo and internal parts starts to die and make lot of smoke and no power at all. Anyway I use VW Passat 2.0 tdi for daily, very reliable and stable engines with incredible power.

Nancy Stewart hey man, I currently drive an Audi A3 1.6 (2003), and its my first car. I believe it has something like 102hp, and yes it’s the slowest engine, but also the most reliable! The other engines like the 2.0 Fsi need way more maintenance and will cost you more money, hence why I’ve chosen the simple 1.6. It’s now slow at all, I’m sure you won’t regret it. Hope this helps, feel free to asks questions!

@@Galagalazivot 230.000km, it was from a profesional shop (Not a particular) and they said to me that the clutch, the distribution and direction are new (They changed it at 210.000km)... By now the car is functioning like new and in Spain the prices are so f****ing high, I expect to have it a few years more :P (Srry 4 my english xD)

Nemanja naravno buraz. Super je Auto, udoban - vozio i po 800 km 900 i nista me nije bolelo ili tako. Stabilan je dosta a i 1.9 je top. Jbg pripazi na kvacilo plivajuci i kad je zubcasti radjen. Ja oko 60€ sam ga punio i u mix sam prelazio i do 1050 km. Top. Preporucujem. Samo meni je dojadio jer vozim 40-60.000 godisnje i onda saltac ubio me. Trenurno vozim Smarta a sredjujem x3 2.0 allrad automatik alpina bela boja pa cu njega u miksu da smarta da vozim. Videces sigurno. Pozz batoo

Trebalo bi svi sportback da su sa jedino ako je on menjao jednom ja je ugradio bez onaj kao u golf 3. to sam i ja razmisljao da uradim onda jednom za sva vremena haha a sto najjace moguce i sa i bez. Standardno je sa. Brate stao mi nikad nije, jedino sam menjao abs senzori, jednu kandzu na kocnice i magnetni oni prstenovi jer mi je greske izbacivao.. mada ono ja vozio bez pola godine nije mi smetalo a i popravka nije nesto. Ulje standard 10-13.000km filteri.. ovako sto se tice motora top. Vidi proveri sve od a do z. I nista pod zurbe, upali auto vidi da li je hladan, pusti da se zagreje i slusaj tacno kako radi - da li u mestu ne zadrma kako kad , svajcarski sat kupujes. Sta radjeno sta nije itd. Gledaj linije auta, oko haube, vrata itd svuda isti razmak mora da bude. Da li je lakiran to se primeti odma. Doteramo ga posle mesec dana generalka motora, juče idem kod očnog na autoputu mi se ugasi samo i pocne lampica za ulje da trepće, ima ulja ima svega.. auto nema ni 170000 znam da je original kilometraza kao što rekoh ljudi iz mog mesta.. poludeo sam a tek ga registrovao pre neki dan.. nadam se da ću sa ovim više sreće imati

Dusan duka imao sam 2004 118d.. dobri su i oni ali po meni je Audi dosta konforniji i nista te ne boli i na duzi put mislim na a3.. dok u bmw 1 do srbije najebavao hah 770km ~.. Audi! Vise mesta- lepsi pregled, manje kosta za odrzavanje.. ali ono- ne misli svako isto! Pozz

1.9 have no problems at all compared to the 2.0 tdi! I did a tune on it 5 years ago and it produces 145 hp now!

Buraaaz nadam se da ćeš videti komentar, želim da kupim ovaj auto već ove nedelje. Molim te reci mi malo više o njemu kako je šta je, jel stvarno toliko dobar koliko pričaju. Iću na par mesta da vidim i isprobam ali hoću da čujem i tvoje mišljenje
Nemanja naravno buraz. Super je Auto, udoban - vozio i po 800 km 900 i nista me nije bolelo ili tako. Stabilan je dosta a i 1.9 je top. Jbg pripazi na kvacilo plivajuci i kad je zubcasti radjen. Ja oko 60€ sam ga punio i u mix sam prelazio i do 1050 km. Top. Preporucujem. Samo meni je dojadio jer vozim 40-60.000 godisnje i onda saltac ubio me. Trenurno vozim Smarta a sredjujem x3 2.0 allrad automatik alpina bela boja pa cu njega u miksu da smarta da vozim. Videces sigurno. Pozz batoo
@@Galagalazivot ovaj što sam ja gledao je bez plivajućeg. Naravno 1.9 ništa drugo 😁 nije mi svejedno, prvi auto koji kupujem i bukvalno sam 2 godine radio i konačno skupio pare, inače imam 21 godinu tako da nisam baš iskusan vozač zato mi treba pomoć.. hvala ti puno i srećno sa tim što radiš 💪🏻

Nemanja koje godiste uzimas pa je bez plivajuci? Trebalo bi svi sportback da su sa jedino ako je on menjao jednom ja je ugradio bez onaj kao u golf 3. to sam i ja razmisljao da uradim onda jednom za sva vremena haha a sto najjace moguce i sa i bez. Standardno je sa. Brate stao mi nikad nije, jedino sam menjao abs senzori, jednu kandzu na kocnice i magnetni oni prstenovi jer mi je greske izbacivao.. mada ono ja vozio bez pola godine nije mi smetalo a i popravka nije nesto. Ulje standard 10-13.000km filteri.. ovako sto se tice motora top. Vidi proveri sve od a do z. I nista pod zurbe, upali auto vidi da li je hladan, pusti da se zagreje i slusaj tacno kako radi - da li u mestu ne zadrma kako kad , svajcarski sat kupujes. Sta radjeno sta nije itd. Gledaj linije auta, oko haube, vrata itd svuda isti razmak mora da bude. Da li je lakiran to se primeti odma. Sve u svemu povedi nekog ko se dobro razume, ako ides sam a ne razumes se bolje nemoj ni da ides. Hvala Brat - nemam vremena da snimam bas toliko u zadnje vreme pa ono kako kad. Hobi mi kao neki
@@Galagalazivot ide jedan majstor sa mnom pa ćemo videti, i pored njega mi nije svejedno jer sam sa zadnjim autom pojeo govno samo tako, tj moja mama jer je ona kupovala Kupim od ljudi iz mog mesta, znači znam sve o autu i kako ga održavaju, garaziran sve ful. Doteramo ga posle mesec dana generalka motora, juče idem kod očnog na autoputu mi se ugasi samo i pocne lampica za ulje da trepće, ima ulja ima svega.. auto nema ni 170000 znam da je original kilometraza kao što rekoh ljudi iz mog mesta.. poludeo sam a tek ga registrovao pre neki dan.. nadam se da ću sa ovim više sreće imati

Dusan duka imao sam 2004 118d.. dobri su i oni ali po meni je Audi dosta konforniji i nista te ne boli i na duzi put mislim na a3.. dok u bmw 1 do srbije najebavao hah 770km ~.. Audi! Vise mesta- lepsi pregled, manje kosta za odrzavanje.. ali ono- ne misli svako isto! Pozz
