Enhancing social cohesion with youth through sports

Conflict and displacement can disrupt social cohesion by fracturing communities, but youth can play a pivotal role in rebuilding it by promoting dialogue and empathy, and initiating collaborative projects that unite and heal fragmented societies.
In Cabo Delgado, youth are coming together to participate in Youth Football Tournaments for Peace, an initiative driven by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in partnership with Youth Associations and the Districts Youth Councils.
