This video has been super helpful. I am actually currently looking at going to Tyler Hill Camp so I found this as a perfect time. I just wanted to ask as you said that you are not allowed your phones with you as they are in lockers. On your rest periods are you able to go to the lockers and use them to check in with home and stuff?
Yes of course! Camp just obviously want you to be as engaged with the kids as possible, but whenever you have some time to yourself you can always check in with home x
@@victoriawhitehouse704 Ahh yeah, I completely get that. It's just a bit daunting not knowing when you are able to contact home when needed. But that's cleared that up thanks! Also, I want to work as a photography counsellor teaching if that's possible. with roles where you are teaching what sort of training do they give you? Are there daily lesson plans or activity plans that you follow? and are you teaching alongside other staff or by yourself? xx
@@lydiabird4675 so with photography at my camp you could either teach photography or you would be a camp photographer! It’s a really cool position at camp and it’s not too structured at all x

I’m so worried my passport hasn’t arrived so I’m not even at the ready to hire stage yet, will the 15th of January be too late if my passport arrives then

@@lydiabird4675 no problem at all! Camp will always give you the right amount of training and experience before needing to start work anyway!! Xx

I’d start applying as soon as! I’m pretty sure you can select which year you’d be going to camp. If not I’d apply august/September time

No not at all! Some people apply as late as April/May
