Its easy to be cynical about this but the truth is this principal is trying to give these kids, that are victims of the capitalism and how the system works for the priviledged, a place to aid them at least get some basic necessary services to help them preserve their dignity and self-respect. He isn't doing it out of sympathy but out of respect and empathy. Im aware there are more principals out there trying their hardest but just pointing out that he's doing something that someone else already pioneered doesn't help. Im pretty sure they aren't looking for accolades rather for their kids to thrive in this unforgiving world. Hats off and much respect! I wish I had a principal like him.

Surely there is enough money to put back what has been taken from affordable housing which Reagan began taking from in the early 80’s. We bailed out the banks, we bailed out the auto industry and we just gave a massive tax break to the well to do and corporations. The powers that be just don’t care about the poor, not even the poor children who have no choice or say so in the matter.

Our military is bigger than the next 5 biggest militaries combined yet we still keep making weapons, bombs, and billion dollar jets. We spend more on the miltary than healthcare, education, social security, and social programs combined, which is sick. We don't need to tax the poor and middle class, we should tax the uber huge corporations and billionaires accordingly while allocating more funds towards healthcare and education.
