a lot of those bass looked like f1 tiger bass and some looked like large mouths, but i can only imagine they were tiger bass since it was a private lake/pond
I fish lots of ponds with BIG bass like they were catching. Pond management is key….remove the small ones so it’s doesn’t stunt the growth of ones left. These I fish are never stocked with new fish, just take care of ones you have and big ones will grow. The owner said he hasn’t fish that pond in 3 years so there’s gonna be some hogs!!! I know. Anything can happen with your lungs. My grandpa never smoked a day in his life and died of lung cancer. Crazy.
