Very nice. You don’t see a lot of Thursday covers and then you hit us with this that sounds like its the actual recording. Thank you!
Thanks! This one is super fun to play
@@mattbucknerguitar im wearing my Thursday shirt rn
I've got that exact Powercaster, but with a different bridge pickup. Nice cover 😁
Nice, what pickup have you got?
@@mattbucknerguitar It's a Dimarzio Tone Zone, zebra striped like the original Fender one. Whatever you're running in bridge position sounds sweet.
I thought the out of the box Fender humbucker was lacking a bit, but the neck P90 is awesome. Glad to have purchased one of these guitars :)
@@RockBassoholic Couldn't agree more - I really don't like the fender atomic Humbucker that comes standard. Great choice - I have a tone zone hot rails in the bridge of a telecaster and it sounds massive!
This was so sick! Also, I had a question regarding the Bareknuckle True Grit Humbucker, how well does it handle cleans I've been looking for pickups with good grit and clean capabilities. Thank you!
Thanks mate! To be fair I’ve not used it much for clean tones, but I think it’s a decent option. When I was recording this track it was surprisingly bright sounding for the intro, so I ended up using the middle position as the p90 in this guitar is very warm sounding (and really loud, so I have it set very low and far away from the strings)
Out of the Bareknuckle boot camp options I think True Grit is probably the best all rounder - the old guard is sort of vintage sounding and the brute force is really high output.
But I much prefer a single coil for clean tones. I’m pretty sure you can wire the True Grit for coil tap which is a great option to have!
@@mattbucknerguitar Awesome!! Thank you so much!!!
