Bit late sorry. ... Well done Bob,, I'm glad you had a warm welcome the day you finished. Not many people can do 44yrs. My dad did 44yrs at Shrewsbury.
Nobody met his last run,,, just booked off, just another day. Wish I'd been there for him, he deserved it. Just like you. Enjoy your retirement to the Max .

I love your railways in the Uk best way to travel any day for a Kiwi its the best means sure I have travelled eastbourne to London quite a few times I love it maybe next visit to Blighty we will visit friends in Scotland whenm all of this covid stuff has dropped away

Well done Bob. My Father also did around 44 years as a Driver . He was based at Salisbury first then Fratton.
