  • What is Yin Yang? They are the fundamental theory of Chinese philosophy and I-Ching divination. Yin and Yang are not nouns but adjectives. They are not used to identify things but to describe them. Everything on earth can be categorized by these two energies. Yin and Yang share three important features. First, they are opposite to each other. Second, they are equal to each other. Third, they are interchangeable.

thank you for this video, i have these ying yang earrings that i wear all the time and just recently i was asked what they represent, i felt embarrassed because i realized i was just wearing them for the aesthetic without knowing the actual significance of its meaning! a lot of cultural and religious symbols are worn just for aesthetic purposes, but people don't know what they mean at all, it's crazy

Yang is the goal. Yin is the plan.

So Yang represents the beginning of a beginning and yin represents the beginning of an end but the end never comes so it goes full circle and ends up being the beginning of the beginning, meaning: yin=yang and yang=yin. IN CONCLUSION: yin and Yang are opposite but the same simultaneously

Yang is plan and Yin is goal. Yang= doing Yin = being. Yin provides space for Yang to unfold within in the universe.

I was thinking the goal was yin, as it's typically defined as something which takes a specific form, whereas the plan made in order to reach the goal would be yang, since plans need to be modified as circumstances change (relatively formless)

The true meaning of yin and yang one side represent good the other goods and evils the two dots in the middle forever insignificant to the Greater Good hence evil always less than goodness

Plan is Yin and goal is Yang ☯️

Goal is yin and plan is yang. Yin is almost like the space that yang must occupy (a goal), whereas to fill up that space, or in other words achieve the goal, you need to make (keyword) a plan.

I believe, from the explanation, that yin and yang are both everything and also themselves. You cannot have a plan without a goal and also the is no goal without the plan. As such they are both one and the same. As is everything in this universe.

The goal is as the Thunder that creates the initial movement. Thunder is masculine, therefore yang.

I must say that Taoism has really helped me through a lot!!

Implementing the lessons I learned from this channel changed my life trajectory and learning that there’s a yin and yang in everything. I wouldn’t have appreciated the power of kindness if someone was not cruel to me; I wouldn’t have realized the importance of growth if I didn’t see myself stagnating; I wouldn’t have appreciated the importance of health if I didn’t get sick; lastly, I wouldn’t have appreciated the growth of my UA-cam channel about self development if I didn’t start from 0.

Wonderful explanation. We need to integrate the shadow, not try to banish it. .Non duality brings beauty.
