    We had a Brickfest live recently here. One of our local afols attended (as he organises a very successful show that raises money for charity) as research; the photos looked like a post apocalyptic show, huge gaps between tables, almost no mocs and almost no visitors

      There was a video that was shared with me today about a UK show in Birmingham.. it did not look all that fun...

      @@VWBricks The one near us was Edinburgh, shots I saw showed maybe 50 people at a time in a large hall; the vendors had no sets, only polybags and merch 😬

    It's always a hassle when organizing things, and people cancel near the event. I hope David can find some good replacements. At the many comic conventions that i went to, you see much difference too. There even was a comic convention, where no comics were sold. Fanbase organized events are always better then commecial events in therms of value for money, but might be a bit more onorganized. Personally, i always prefer talking to fans over busines people that don't care about the subject.
