- In this video we (me and my brother Bronze Age Bill!) have some fun going over some of our ever changing list of favorite comic book covers that helped develop our love of comics from when we were a kid, all the way up until today!
We cover all your favorites, Batman, Spider-Man, Superman, X-Men, Thor, and more!
And yes, I KNOW I already did a G.I. Joe thumbnail...mind your business.

I want to thank the UA-cam algorithm for finding this channel for me. It's hard to find channels about comic story lines from the 70s and 80s. I've since condensed my collection also, to higher value books. I'm always looking for any WW2 golden age covers

Great video. I am a fan of the ASM 70 cover myself. Call me juvenile, but maybe signing off with giving your brother Bill a noogie would have made it that much better ;)
He got mad at me for touching his face last time, so I had to be on my best behavior! 😂 ASM #70, very reminiscent of those old Batman covers!

Don't think I knew about Superman riding a bomb like Slim Pickens from Dr. Strangelove.
Right?? That was a new one for me too! It's CRAZY as far as I'm concerned...especially now that I'm starting to see so many similar covers for other heroes. I have my eye on a Cap Marvel Jr, a Wonder Woman, and a Captain Midnight all with similar covers.
I just need some actual money....
Nice choices by you both. Incidentally, Jack Kirby did the cover for Amazing Fantasy 15. Ditko did the interior art on the Spider-man portion of this issue.

What makes those favorites of yours? You just love the covers? They have a strong nostalgia pull for you? There are some VERY cool covers there (I had to look some of them up so I could remember them), a very unusual list, and I love it!!
@@SwarmofComics FF 149 was the first comic I purchased myself from my local 7-11 at the age of 9. The cover just grabbed me. It's been one of my favorites ever since. A next door neighbor gave me a copy of ASM 113 when I was even younger. The covers that caught my eye in my early days of collecting are the ones that seem to stick with me the most.

spectacular spider man turned into web of spiderman if im not mistaken.
It actually replaced Marvel Team-Up!
Amazing, Spectacular, and Web ran concurrently. Kraven's Last Hunt ran through all 3 titles.
@@cwwheelz and that was such a great story arc. I feel like it didn't get proper credit until fairly recently. I wish mine were all 9.8s, but I love them for what they are!
my bad its Sensational Spiderman replaced web of..... Its been a long time. I barely remember the carnage saga in sensational? but I was maybe 12 idk ignore me.
No PCH Covers?
Surprisingly, no! There are some iconic and beautiful (and grotesque) covers, but none REALLY stand out to me as a favorite.
But hey, I probably have a completely different list if you ask me next week!
