It is shocking this is the only clear answer I found on the internet. The obvious place would be under settings/notifications, but it’s as if Apple had this hidden because they do not provide clear answers online. My phone switched to do not disturb on its own (I never did), and that is suspicious, too. I’ve found several other features suspiciously and automatically turned on that I never wanted such as face detection under “face ID/passcode” such as “require attention for Face ID” and “attention aware” features. I suggest others look into that, too.
