Mrs. Caveman!!! We have been hearing so much about you, for some reason he is in love just enough he always talks about you. Lol what a wonderful man, a Bright Star for “us” the “#creeksquad”. We need him to take vacation and make more videos. Lol. Ya”ll are a blessing. Thanks for the time you give the squad!
Aww, what a nice comment! Thank you! We've only ever had one vacation...just this August to South Padre. We don't get much time off 'round here! We love doing the videos tho. Maybe one day it'll allow us to take more vacations! 😁😉

I feel at home in Upchurch's music. I watched your husbands videos last night. That's so cool. Something about the song BUILT LIKE THAT fits perfect with his song WHITE LIGHTENING. GREAT REACTION!! #CREEKSQUAD
My favorite line is, “don’t compare me to the greatest on your playlist, cause the greatest on your playlist ain’t this”. But this song is the greatest on my playlist in my opinion!
It's an incredible song.Actualy I believe the paint on his shirt is from painting in his new house,,,he's the type not afraid to get his hands dirty,,and the painting is from when he was duck hunting 😤👍
Absolutely he’s talked about the down parts of being famous so he can pass the knowledge and expectations for the up coming and telling em it’s crazy,no privacy, not able to go no where and not being known and how dangerous it is
Just wanted to say that you and Mr Caveman have the best true reactions on UA-cam. Not just jumping around acting ridiculous. You guys, I believe have your “third eyes open” and actually see the meaning of the music. Upchurch is more than just an entertainer there is a spiritual meaning to a lot of his music I feel, and you guys see that as well.
Thank you so much! That really means a lot. When I first started this, I thought, "no one is going to want to listen to what I have to say, I don't act like the other people on these channels,". I can't do the over the top reactions... It feels disingenuous. I love listening to the lyrics and the meanings of songs. Sometimes, there's nothing really deep and I just love the music or beat, but it's great when I can really dissect things and peel back the layers!
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I love that you are going to do the original Traveler. I agree that it takes a while to breakdown his work too, I have a 32 min video for this song as proof. I would like to say I loved how you picked up on so much of the little stuff in the video. I never thought of the fire part that you did at the end and when his mom did her reaction she mentioned that the tossing of the hat had a larger meaning that we would see continued into further music videos. I also loved that you mentioned how his lyrics paint pictures before he said a line similar. #CreekSquad
Yo his voice is beautiful ain't it?? Keep killing it. If you haven't heard Mud to gold or Necks Too Red you need to. Ryan's catalog is deep Hideas the album is dope as well. #creeksquad
He’s definitely noticed a difference now that he’s more well known. He’s had some people come to his house in broad daylight asking for pictures and autographs. He hates that. There’s a time and place for that and it’s not when he’s relaxing at home. They probably think since he’s such a good dude that he won’t mind but his home is supposed to be a safe space. After a concert he’ll do autographs and pictures for hours but don’t come to his house.
Wow...I can't believe people would be so rude!...Well, maybe I can. There are lot of crazies out there! But it's unfortunate that he has to deal with it. Fans can get nutty!
@@MrsRealistic It's worse than that, I think. There have always been crazies, sure. But I'm afraid much of the country mentality of manners, courtesy, respect, and minding your own business is a thing of years past. This is a little bit of an extreme example, but manners were such a big deal in my house, I couldn't wear a hat inside - anywhere. Not even our own house. You go to one of the few restaurants in our small rural town or one of those nearby (or anywhere around the South) and you never saw men wearing their hat at the table in the 80s or early 90s. Now, find me a single restaurant where you won't find men wearing their hat at the dinner table no matter where you go. A few months ago I was at the Dilliard House (Dilliard, NC), loved by locals and tourists a like and it's not cheap. The only men not wearing their hat at the table were the few of us who didn't wear one. Find a restaurant where people aren't loud, obnoxious, and completely discourteous of the fact that others are there to enjoy an evening, not listen to their shit. Point is: The era of manners and thinking it's ill advised to randomly knock on people's door? It doesn't even cross their mind. And it's not just kids, but people my age or even older. It's like a switch was flipped and people just stopped giving a fuck. And rednecks are every bit as bad about this as city folk now. Those of us who still hold onto manners and courtesy are few and far between. The old South is all but dead. As long as Upchurch lives his life like a normal dude, he's going to have these shit heads knocking on his door from time to time.
@@Swearengen1980 I agree with you 100%! I get so tired of seeing parents placate their kids with tablets and phones in restaurants, not giving a shit about anyone else's comfort or personal space. I didn't come to eat dinner in your living room. Teach your kids how to behave in a bloody restaurant and you won't have to shove a phone in their face! My husband has actually confronted many people on this issue and they act like we're just the most rude, insensitive assholes around...meanwhile, it's actually THEM! There have been numerous people I see having facetime calls while we ate. It's the most rude, uncourteous thing I can ever imagine. Our kids don't even have phones, let alone use them in public like that. And that took a lot of work, lots of time out in the parking lot with Daddy if they had a fit while we were out etc. Now we have total strangers and coworkers of my husband's actually comment on how well behaved our kids are. Raise them with respect for others, and it makes a difference!! But you're right, it's like common courtesy has gone out the window, and no one seems to care about anyone else anymore.
Having been one for nearly 20 years, and done a crazy amount of research on our Fraternity, I'd be curious to hear more about his obsession with Freemasons; he mentions them a lot. He's talked about conspiracy theories. Maybe it just rhymes with shit. Side note - You brought up the 3rd eye, being awake...or known as the Eye of Providence, not an uncommon symbol in Freemasonry. No idea if there's a correlation between those lyrics. The painting though, weird. Country setting, paratroopers in the background, country clothes, and it does appear to be a gas mask (that doesn't cover his eyes, so...not very helpful lol). Is it a statement about the current political situation; war coming to our neck of the woods?
@@MrsRealistic As do many other cultures; Ancient Egyptian, Muslims, certain cultures in South America.
