I own a DS9. It's my only 2011 so I don't have any comparison point. But I can say it's a really great gun, and the new favorite in my collection. Although, as with any other gun, it's not without it's flaws. The thumb safety has a couple of issues. 1) The right side (ambi) safety pinched my right hand when deactivating the left side safety. 2) Both sides of the thumb safety levers have sharp edges. My gunsmith recommended installing an Ed Brown thumb safety, which resolved all these issues. Also, there's a notch cut into the back of the magwell, leaving exposed sharp points and edges. My gunsmith rounded those for me. These are small issues to an otherwise awesome firearm. Highly recommended.
Just a suggestion, at least for me, I'd rather have the camera focused on the gun & not you! With the camera being 8-10ft. away, we don't get a really good view of the gun which is kinda the star of the video!
no different than most 2011's for me. When shooting a lot of rounds (around 1000+) in a day, I personally will get a hotspot on the inside, first knuckle of my thumb- right where the back of the safety meets the beaver tail. I wear a size medium glove for reference
The way you keep holding the gun & puttting your hand over the muzzle.... hard to take gun advice from that. How does it shoot? How many malfunctions in 200 rds?
So what happens when you break the gun down and clean it and things of that nature? If you know it’s clear there are times where your hand will go in front of the barrel. Relax dude

No joke my infinity 2011 in 10mm runs just as fast as that
What is the front sight width? It appears to be mounted with a screw, are there aftermarket front sights available?

Zero malfunctions without any cleaning or lubing, which is mentioned. Thanks for your advice.
