For anyone who wants to get one and is wondering about the square, it's a result of zooming in on the LED die itself. I saw a comparison video between the z1 sst70 and sft40 and realized. The sst70 has a larger die so it's a large square with a cross. The sft40 has cut edges so if you hate the square altogether and want a good hotspot get that one! It appears rounded while zoomed.
Appreciate the work you put into your reviews. Hiking through the woods down trails using remote camera shots is not easy work no doubt. I like when you show and describe the light as well, your English is quite good so your thoughts are appreciated as well✌️🙏
I absolutly love zoomies at wide angle, even cheap (9$ Kensun from Ali ) for their super-even no-hotspot beam and for sharp beam border. Wuben also makes at least two zoomies. Everyone must have zoomie.

can I ask a silly question? I also have the same convoy z1 as yours, (SST40 5000K). If I swapped its original SST40 LED and used an XHP70.2 LED on my convoy z1, would it work? LED will not burn?
Hello sir. You need to change the driver as well. You need 22mm 6v5A driver and one problem that you may face is the size of the led which is too big for the led base. You may have to penetrate the hole at the base to be big enough for the led. Thanks for watching sir 😊. Please subscribe 🙏.
