The SFT40 5000K I have does the same thing, levels 1-3 are fine but 4 and 5 are whiter, but still very clean.
I have mine in a Jaxman E3 with a 10 degree lightly hazed TIR and Convoy 5A linear driver.

I mod a Olight Warrior Mini 3. They are easy. Originally they have a 6500k SFT40 but I put in a SFT40 with 5700k. Its a nice neutral white on the edge to cool white.

I have an M21B on XHP70.3HI, can I replace the LED with an SFT 70 without any changes? Who is better at throwing at a distance?
Hello sir. Yes you can sir but you need a new gasket for 5050 led. I can't guarantee whether you will get good beam or not. Sft70 is an led that's hard to deal with dark sport in the beam. Thanks for watching and your support sir 😊. Please subscribe 🙏.
