I enjoy your reactions so much. My husband (who likes BTS but doesn’t watch reactors) asked me why I like to watch other people watching BTS videos. I told him that it’s fun watching other people get deeper into BTS and “get” them. And most everyone does become a fan, even if they were resistant to k-pop or had a preconceived idea about BTS. This series really draws people in. I think many of us are attracted to the love and warmth BTS expresses towards each other and ARMY. We all wish we had a group of friends that we were as close to as BTS is with each other. Much love to you and Irene. 💜

The notes and gifts Suga prepared on his birthday was paid for by his own money. I presume earned from his delivery job. He was well known to be really poor at this time. He was trying to do for ARMY something like fans of other idols got at fan sign meetings....
Suga had his delivery job as a trainee, but definitely not after debut. Still, they weren't making much money at that time and it took years for them to start breaking even so it's not like they would have had a lot of money to throw around at that point either.
I didn't realize it was to compensate for the company not having the money to get fans gifts. I'm about to cry. They all have so much heart. This is why we fell in love with them. I remember seeing this was when I started to connect with Suga. I could tell that he had a hard shell on the outside but inside he was the kindest soul. Even when V asked if he could say something to his parents at the concert, it was Suga that said he could even say 2 things.

Mr Biggs, while I understand your point of view from the westerners thoughts. Bang PD, from the beginning, day 1 told the boys they have artistic freedom. When Bang PD said he’s worried about RM and Suga, it was because they were the two who wrote songs and rap for the group in the early yrs after their debut, even before they debut, they had some songs already written. He was worried they both going to run themselves to the ground from working too much. They spent times in the studio for lots of hours and only few hours of sleep. They were hungry, not for food, but for their dreams and for their team and label. From the get go, things were already against them. This is what I would like for you to takeaway from this. You will also see just how dedicated they are to their music and each other. Through your lenses, I found your reaction authentic and child like because you’ve never heard of them. Yes, Bang PD is a great mentor, protecting and guiding them! They need to produce and write constantly, and he wants them to do it and tell their story and not just to be given something to perform, but also not burn out in the meantime. I think money and fame brought by BTS changed BangPD. The moment he hired Scooter Braun he's principles shifted and HYBE he created became profit oriented rather than artists centric. They are now answerable to their investors above all else.

My take on the lead in conversation between Hitman Bang and RM. He was genuinely worried for RM and understand he has writer's block because their schedule is crazy and he gets dragged around by a manager from morning until the following day. If you remember, the last episode, jikook mentioned that they finally got 48 hours of a break and jimin got to see his dad. so from their perspective, how do you write anything without experiencing life. It's very rare in Korea that you have a conversation with your CEO (granted they were an extremely small company) let alone to have lunch with them. So for Hitman Bang to wish that RM and Suga had no worries is exactly how I would want them to be treated. Are you saying from your experience on both sides that Universal is actually worried about your well being? Im curious.
No, what I mean is that they are usually worried about your career... Basically that something is going on that's putting them in the position to possibly drop you from the label. I am not saying that's what Hitman Bang was meaning, but majors usually have that going on if they bring you in to talk to one of their executives.

I think that since when BTS started there were only 10 staff and BTS they were very close. He has had a number of these conversations through the years that we have seen. Obv we don't know everything and you do have some unique insights but at this point BTS was their only group. The system in Korea is one of coaching and teaching with initial 7 year contracts. He has also said that he is not close to any of the other groups at the label. Just BTS bc of how they started together.

Believe me I don't understand it either, because the channel that I get it from has the same images with NO ISSUE. However, when I upload it the copyright restriction says: Your video cannot be seen by anybody because it's blocked worldwide. And it gives me the instances where I have to cut the video. 8:55 I don't know if it's fair to say that "fans" were upset with the song. 1st the controversy around WOH was stirred up in 2015, almost a full year after the song's release, the lyrics aren't as suggestive as the English translations suggest at all and the tone is very much tongue in cheek. For context, from what I understand, there was another idol group around the same time, or maybe 2015 that had a very offensive song and even girls with leashes in their performance and so BTS were used as scapegoats as they often were, this was also coincidentally when the country was embroiled in crimes against women so things were already heated.

Videos of this type are not the best way to learn Bantan. Too much depends on who the bias of the video creator is. Many of the bantanas are much more complex and deeper, not to mention that they have become much more interesting as they have matured. I see a lot of concentration on Jimin and an inordinate amount of inserts with Tae, making faces. It is already clear where the wind is blowing from. This is so rude narrative from JM's fans. They see Tae only like this. Taehyung, RM and J-Hope are the most original members with the most personal approach, but the video does not emphasize this. Unfortunately, everyone goes their own way here, and you started with an already biased Are you sure. The Hybe has always been aimed more at showing Jimin and JK, rappers too, as the best part of BTS. And the video that is currently on the Internet is suffering from this. I advice to meet bantan looking all of kind of video on Bantan's channel, especially perfomances and personal cameras, Bangtan's bombs too. This will be much more adequate. But analyses of members you should watch from those who loves members: Suga - from Suga's fans, J-Hope - from J-Hope's fans, V - from V's fans, else you will be some kind brainwashed

My take on the lead in conversation between Hitman Bang and RM. He was genuinely worried for RM and understand he has writer's block because their schedule is crazy and he gets dragged around by a manager from morning until the following day. If you remember, the last episode, jikook mentioned that they finally got 48 hours of a break and jimin got to see his dad. so from their perspective, how do you write anything without experiencing life. It's very rare in Korea that you have a conversation with your CEO (granted they were an extremely small company) let alone to have lunch with them. So for Hitman Bang to wish that RM and Suga had no worries is exactly how I would want them to be treated.

No, what I mean is that they are usually worried about your career... Basically that something is going on that's putting them in the position to possibly drop you from the label. I am not saying that's what Hitman Bang was meaning, but majors usually have that going on if they bring you in to talk to one of their executives.

I think that since when BTS started there were only 10 staff and BTS they were very close. He has had a number of these conversations through the years that we have seen. Obv we don't know everything and you do have some unique insights but at this point BTS was their only group. The system in Korea is one of coaching and teaching with initial 7 year contracts. He has also said that he is not close to any of the other groups at the label. Just BTS bc of how they started together.

Believe me I don't understand it either, because the channel that I get it from has the same images with NO ISSUE. However, when I upload it the copyright restriction says: Your video cannot be seen by anybody because it's blocked worldwide. And it gives me the instances where I have to cut the video. Of course I am not going to cut it because you guys would miss the reactions on all those parts, so the best I can do is blur it. 😤

8:55 I don't know if it's fair to say that "fans" were upset with the song. 1st the controversy around WOH was stirred up in 2015, almost a full year after the song's release, the lyrics aren't as suggestive as the English translations suggest at all and the tone is very much tongue in cheek. For context, from what I understand, there was another idol group around the same time, or maybe 2015 that had a very offensive song and even girls with leashes in their performance and so BTS were used as scapegoats as they often were, this was also coincidentally when the country was embroiled in crimes against women so things were already heated.

Videos of this type are not the best way to learn Bantan. Too much depends on who the bias of the video creator is. Many of the bantanas are much more complex and deeper, not to mention that they have become much more interesting as they have matured. I see a lot of concentration on Jimin and an inordinate amount of inserts with Tae, making faces. It is already clear where the wind is blowing from. This is so rude narrative from JM's fans. They see Tae only like this. Taehyung, RM and J-Hope are the most original members with the most personal approach, but the video does not emphasize this. Unfortunately, everyone goes their own way here, and you started with an already biased Are you sure. The Hybe has always been aimed more at showing Jimin and JK, rappers too, as the best part of BTS. And the video that is currently on the Internet is suffering from this. I advice to meet bantan looking all of kind of video on Bantan's channel, especially perfomances and personal cameras, Bangtan's bombs too. This will be much more adequate. But analyses of members you should watch from those who loves members: Suga - from Suga's fans, J-Hope - from J-Hope's fans, V - from V's fans, else you will be some kind brainwashed
