Bryant Park is a 9.6-acre public park located in the New York City borough of Manhattan. Privately managed, it is located between Fifth Avenue and Avenue of the Americas and between 40th and 42nd Streets in Midtown Manhattan
Bryant Park, nestled in the heart of New York City, is a verdant oasis amid the concrete jungle. This charming park, though compact, is packed with beauty and activities. Its well-manicured lawns, inviting chairs, and shaded pathways offer a tranquil retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. Whether you're looking to enjoy a peaceful lunch, read a book under the trees, or partake in the numerous free events like outdoor movies and fitness classes, Bryant Park has something for everyone. The park's central location, adjacent to the New York Public Library, adds to its appeal, making it a perfect spot for both tourists and locals alike. The seasonal transformations, from the winter ice skating rink to the summer outdoor movie nights, ensure that the park offers diverse experiences year-round. Bryant Park is more than just a park; it's a community hub that encapsulates the spirit of New York City - vibrant, dynamic, and welcoming to all.
This is a beautiful park which you should visit twice, one during Christmas or Winter and other during summer or fall colors. In winter we can see the beautiful Winter Village with so many lights, ice skating rink and many other winter vendors, where as in summer the ice rink disappears with vast green grasslands with picnic spots and the lively trees that provide ample shade. Round the year we will find so many vendors selling different types of tasty snacks. This is a must visit walkable place from One Times Square or Rockefeller Center.
