HAHA the last scene when Jack walks out the front door of number 11! Classic!
Minnie cauldwell is such a lovely lady x
I wish Ena Sharbles was running the country instead of Boris.
That is a good idea
Today's writers need to go back 50+ years and see what true drama-entertainment-comedy is all about. Coro these days has lost the plot.
I have watched from the beginning a few times when I’m sick . It was so great back then . I watched from the 60s to 2017 then it got so boring 🥲. Now I’m watching again lol 😂
Lost the plot twenty years ago.
One of the best episodes I've watched ! Hilarious ... Thanks for the upload.
julieann carter
You should watch it with the subtitles turned on, they're even funnier.
julieann carter How did Jack end up coming out of Elsie's when he'd been with Albert?
Alexander Jones
He went out of Albert's back door, along the back entry into Elsie's back door, that's how he got to be coming out of Elsie's.
How did Elsie and Len never Marry they were a lot of chemistry with them better than he was with Rita
She turned him down because she didnt think it would last and didnt want to ruin their friendship
He wanted a trophy middle class wife. Mistake. Never as good a match as Elsie.
"you don't take no notice dear....at least you don't flaunt your body out your frock"
Elsie chuckles "only because she's got nothing to flaunt"
Ty so much for uploading these episodes great fan from nz here 💓
Hey! That guy just walked on set by accident, I'd say! Gotta love live!
Well Well even Ken Barlow has done some time in prison. I should imagine Ken will have met some men inside who will have been more horrible to him than Mike Baldwin has ever been. By the way thank you for uploading this episode of Coronation Street Auntie Corrie2
"light drama and comedy made these early
episodes of Coronation Street
enjoyable to watch 😀,
I've tried to watch the
current episodes but
there just not the same
no comedy,
just drama
and more drama 😰,
I love these characters of the
old episodes better,
these characters
are all in soap heaven 😔,
except for Ken Barlow
Classic Coronation Street episodes
are all I watch 😁,
the 60's,70's& 80's episodes are
the best,thanks."-😎.🇬🇧.
I can't watch the up to date Corrie. But I could watch these old ones till the cows come home, love them.
@Dirty Anus I notice the comedy is ramped up when Jack Rosenthal and Vince Powell take over writing duties.. Ena becomes a monologue sketch sometimes!
Totally agree with you
I've been looking fo an episode which I'm pretty sure was shown in the first half of 1967.
Ken Barlow is in the Rovers and ends up having a heated argument with Elsie Tanner's boyfriend an American soldier and his buddy another G.I. Ken rips them apart about how violent their country is. I'd love to see it again.
It was one of Ken's finest hours.
I will start looking on you tube. It might well be on this channel.
This is proper cornation street not that crap what's out now
Ee by eck Jack, brilliant.
Oh my goodness that mop was filthy I am a 50s child and our mop is always white HAHAH
Classic episode - the ending was hilarious.
Guess Stan's chucked in his job carrying bags of coal, then.
At 21.18 a man walks on set then quickly turns around and walks off.
We didn’t know then that bread was so bad for ducks .
Val destroying 'clever' Kenneth intellectually, she ALWAYS did in reality.
Can't help noticing at the beginning how the kerb's completely flat.
Shame. The original viewers back when the show aired were not able to press rewind or slide the red button to left to see the last scene over and over again 😅
I never knew Ken spent a week in jail what did he do would like to know please
I think it was some sort of demo?
He protested about the Vietnam war.
Why did Kenny go to jail?
how come the Granada Television International logo plasters the "From the North Granada Presents" caption at the beginning?
at the point 23:30 Annie Walker is not saying anything unusual!
21:17 Did that guy accidently walk on the set? 😂
😄😄
😹😂
It the early sixties TV dramas it was quite common to see cameras in the living room mirrors. Also microphone booms in camera shot.
@@steveforum133 They were done live back then
Ha Ha yeh.. looks like he ate all the pies too!
Ey, ey ey, what's 'appened between Annie and Jack, then?
Fell out over a quiz in the local paper "Are You Married To The Right Person?"
😄
Acting is terrible ...but entertaining nonetheless !! ...love that Jack wears a bowler hat to to corner shop in a backstreet ... 🤷🏼♂️
Those were the days the older men still wore hats. My Dad did.
If you want get ahead, get a hat.💂♂️
I agree about the bad acting in the earlier shows..
You can see them waiting for their cues...
However...those early episodes were very entertaining..
What's on now is pure crap. !!!
Pity that cardboard cutout pilok Ken Barlow didn't stay in jail forever..What a boring actor..Useless..
Who else walks into the house after a week in jail and says "hi" so weak😅😢😂
