Yes precisely, when stalled if you manage to inflict damage on the npc you won’t gain any experience if you hit within 0.6 - 0.1 seconds before actually spawning
so on the Agrithnar or however you spell it, on my tank pure what i did was use the Torches like you did at the start but have the darklight in my inv and poke him with poison weapon , it helps alot and saved some time it only took around 30ish minutes for the kill.
