VINCENT ...I might be tempted to believe that you are well intentioned...but I assure that those beautiful lemurs are just surviving thanks to their inherited inteligence and ability to survive despite the greed and lack of inteligence of human kind...who are using the poverty of some disfavoured economically challenged people to cater to their own sordid interests! Dear Gabriel, i answered on your other post... But i just hope to see one day gem mining benefiting to people and also to conservation. It is sadly not yet the case in Madagascar. But at least there i did not see much environmental problems (besides siltation of streams) and i saw that the mining benefitted a lot to many poor people. The two loosers being conservation who did not get any income from that discovery and the image of the gem industry that was tarnished by some journalists making money selling fake news and alarmist articles.
