There's a difference between a dermatologist & and esthetician. One's a doctor & the other works in a spa/salon. A user familiar with these services once said that they intentionally do this for 2 reasons. They are connected, under the skin, so it's safer to remove after breaking up the connection. Also, the clients will return if they still have issues with their skin. I agree with you that this one is devious.

And why is there such a need to stab in the first place? Most of the time it suffices to just squeeze and push. Why all that bloodshed? When they then have all that mixed together with the sebum, they smear it all over the wounds, thus infecting the open sores, including re-opened old ones which are inflamed already. Then she gets tired and impatient and hurries to get it over with, while her gloves are slippery from all that grease, blood, etc. How will such patients ever recover? I also wonder why they put this ghastly stuff on the gloves and show it off to the camera, as though proud of it. Put it on some gauze or cotton or into a container, don't gross us out and then show a cooking show afterwards, please!
