The best thing I did for my own formation was to sponsor a woman wanting to come into the Catholic Church. I went to RCIA classes with her and learned so much. A gift I will be ever greatful for.
I used the Baltimore Catechism when homeschooling my children. I learned so much! Then, I wondered why the Faith wasn’t taught when I was young but social justice was stressed. The reason for that decision became quite obvious. So, I merrily taught my children the Catechism as I should have been taught when I was a kid.
I learned the faith from the Baltimore catechism. In my 70’s now, and being a revert back from Protestantism, imagine my shock and surprise at all this!!
Thank you for your observations. I am keeping the Pope in my prayers & praying that he stops sowing confusion. He draws close to the time he has his own appointment with the almighty, as we all could at any time. Then the time of Mercy will be over. We all must be ready to face Him. I pray we all have time & inclination to repent.
Well done Robert . You are spot on . This is very confusing time and sadly the main attack toward the Church is coming from the hierarchy. We must hold fast to the TRUTHS of the faith. Our Lord promised that the ‘gates of hell will not prevail’. It is devastating though how many souls will be lost due to the clergy forgetting their main task of salvation of souls .😢😢 Pray for conversion of souls
The Parable of the Sower comes to mind, especially about the seeds landing among the thorns. Pray the Rosary, Pray for the Pope, Pray for the Bishops, Pray for the Priests. Lord have mercy on us, help us to repent properly and to better ourselves.
Robert yes, the TLM isn’t bad, it’s wonderful. I go to a mass in Shrewsbury, on the English/Welsh border. There are such kind, beautiful people there, different backgrounds and ages, but so lovely. And families with adorable children who sing in Latin, and even the very young ones seem unflustered during the long mass. I also go to a wonderful NO mass in Wales which is also reverent and full of Jesus’s love. What I’m trying to say is you are right - we must not divide ourselves into different teams of right and wrong Catholics - we can all support each other. God bless you, Robert.
A week ago I went to Mass as part of the AGM of an organisation I belong to. At the beginning of Mass the priest said - I admit I’m paraphrasing here - but effectively what he said was for the last 2000 years the Church has been bothered about the salvation of souls, but that’s not the purpose of the church. The purpose of the church is to build community and finally we’re getting it right. Afterwards most of those present said ‘what a lovely Mass and what a great priest he is.’ I really could have wept they had no idea.
I’ve heard somewhere about God allowing bad leaders in the church and government as a punishment for so many terrible Catholics . He is separating the wheat from the chaff.

David was a royal sinner but also a royal penitent; so their is hope for us miserable sinners. As St John said in scripture; If you say you do not sin then truth is not in you. We all have a fallen heart because of original sin; that's why we look to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus for truth and guidance. As St Theresa of Lisieux once said; the devil likes to make you think you have already made it to the gates of hell. But as long as you have a tongue and heart even though your hands and feet are nailed to a cross ; you can still be saved as the good thief on the cross was.
It's like the "Seamless Garment" fallacy. "I can ignore abortion if I care about the poor." You cannot sin in one area of your life, and make up for it in another.

One further thought which i hope you find encouraging. By comparing and contrasting post 2012 with pre 2012, you are informing the flock. You are 100% correct that the time of mercy is limited. I would guess that this time of mercy is very very limited now. And once that merciful time expires, the period of Justice begins. By comparing and contrasting pre 2013 and post 2013, you are presenting people with a choice of which path to follow. Follow pre 2013 there is a far better chance of receiving mercy. Follow post 2013 path there will be no mercy. All you can do is to continue to ask people to compare and contrast - and leave them to decide which teaching is correct. You are doing great work Robert : you are evangelising people.
When Pope Francis was first selected, I was stunned when he stated that his most important title was Bishop of Rome. I thought then....what about us? You are supposed to be OUR Pope!
And he tucked the title "Vicar of Christ" away in some file, as too 'antiquated' and not 'humble enough?' He was right to not use it, as what he has said (and done) the past 11 years is *NOT* the voice of our Lord Jesus.
Funny enough, a warning light went on with my car just yesterday and I was pretty agitated about it, to the point where I feel like I was a bit too distressed and grumpy this morning before making a holy hour. So it was a pleasant surprise that I came across this video and you brought up warning lights on cars with a greater message. God has interesting ways of telling me to listen! (And fortunately I am also married to someone who is helpful in troubleshooting matters of cars!)
Every single sin is connected to the heart. I know because if I sin even a teeny sin (like saying something negative about a disgruntled customer on the other end of the phone) I instantly feel remorse. And that’s by God’s design or blueprint if you will. When your saved it is God grace and mercy.

A friend of mine went to college in Maynooth in the early 90s and had a lot of friends (and boyfriends!) who were seminarians there. She said they were the most promiscuous lads she'd ever met. They said they were told by the priests instructing them to sew their wild oats now while they still could, because once they took their vows that was it. How's that for formation? No building up of virtue, no start as you mean to go on. Fast forward 30 years and it's not hard to see why there's a vocations crisis in Ireland.
Our parish is in utter chaos. We just received word that our school is closing. People are blaming our more traditional pastor (as opposed to the last 2 decades of pretty liberal priests). I suggested that the problem really lies with us parents, and/or OUR SCHOOL for not educating our children about what it means to be a Catholic. I said that I think in the last several decades our children have had a general Christian education, learning very little about Catholicism, and how we are to live it. As a result, none of my 5 adult children are regular attendees at Sunday mass, choosing to go in the years their children are to receive First Communion or be Confirmed. And on the rare times they do go, they have no trouble going to communion without going to confession for several years! My point is, they are no longer attending mass or sending their kids to a Catholic school, and certainly not contributing to the collection box.
Robert, you have echoed the cry of my heart for many years! Many of the saints evangelized through basic catechesis. Our priests seem to assume that all adult parishioners have been adequately catechized and understand what the Mass is, but many haven't been and don't. Most clergy seem to focus only on the children, but they should be focusing just as much on their parents and adults in general, and they need to start with the basics. And even those of us who know the basics would benefit by periodic reviews! Of course the catechetical materials used must also be orthodox, well designed, and engaging.
i feel the same way robert. recently the pope talked about the evils transgender, but yet he gave the greenlight to transgenders being God parents. i'm tired of trying to understand exactly what our faith is bc of all the confusion
Hello, Robert - Do you know where I might find a copy of Para Salvarte in an English edition, please? I have searched the Internet and striking out. Thank you so very much for sharing the truth in such an honest and pastoral manner. You are a gift to The Church and your brothers and sisters in Christ. God bless you! 🙏🏼✝️
Maybe we should send to all our priests Fr. Edward Meeks' youtube teachings and Fr. Mark Beard's homilies and throw in some Fulton Sheen for good measure.
I want other Christians around me that look with ten magnifying glassed to how I live and think I should live as a Christian. So I write all of them (nearly 200) every week to keep them informed what we can do in our mission work and what I find in the Bible. Some (liberals) don't agree. They tell me. Some serious christians rebuke me when they think I make mistakes in my choices. This keeps me on the small path of following Christ only. Shalom to you.
Follow teachings from the bible and saints. We know right from wrong. Don’t be led to perdition sometimes following the leader isn’t a good thing. The Holy Spirit is stirring your heart to let you know to follow something that leads to sin or is sinful. Follow what is good.
Robert ...can some of us not pledge our holy communions for Pope Francis ..or make a novena .. can you not lead us in this ? We need to pray intensely for all our shepherds ... I met a person who had had a NDE ...and she told me she met the people she prayed for who had managed heaven ...but ... Jesus challenged her with the question ' WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH THE LOVE I SHOWED YOU ?" .. Being devout is important but not an end in itself if it does not lead to love ... We aren't doing well by getting into camps and attacking the other.
I taught for years in Catholic primary schools here in Scotland till I retired in 2003 and for most of my last years we used a syllabus which sounds like the one you mentioned, only we just called it “that Irish Veritas”book! Talk about weak wishy washy feel good nonsense! The real catechism which I was brought up on in the 1950s was nowhere to be seen. I did my best to circumvent this of course and endeavoured to teach the Faith properly.
Latin Mass is the best of the best! Saints were participating in this Mass for centuries. How powerful it must be that this Pope wants it to be erased from the Church. How about blessing homosexual unions? It cannot be pleasing to God. And our duty is to love God and be obedient to Him. Also, we have to be obedient to the Church authorities, but obedience doesn't mean subservience. When St. Peter was wrong, St. Paul corrected him. There's a reason it's in the Bible. Pope has been in error, and this is an act of charity to correct him. It's our duty.
It’s a slander against our Holy Father. He regulated the celebration of 1962 Missal due to schismatic groups such as sspx and sedevacantist who weaponized the Traditional Latin Mass against the Novus Ordo Missal or the 1969 Missal. Recently, the FSSP priests met with Pope Francis asking about the celebration of Traditional Latin Mass and Holy Father allowed them to continue celebrating the beautiful liturgy. As a matter of fact, FSSP is in communion with Holy Father, and celebrating the Holy Mass in extraordinary form. It’s group like sspx that need to return to the fold of the Holy Apostolic Catholic Church. They should work for unity, meeting our Holy Father for a good cause.
You know what? Not only is it a fact that there is confusion in the church, but also people are not stupid. We see what is happening. We hear what it being said and promoted. We read things that 20 years ago never would have occurred. We are trying really hard to hold our tongues within the faith. But we are not stupid and you cannot cover the Sun with your thumb and say it isn’t there when it is. It’s almost as comical as the way some of our world leaders treat us. As if we are idiots. You know how the education system gets dumbed down? I think they are trying to dumb down our faith so we don’t speak out and say, “hey wait a minute there, buddy, that’s incorrect!” This is what the stone cutter’s have been doing. This is what we are now seeing. That’s why with every new heretic proclamation they make, no one knows what to do with it.
Those bishops get cancelled. I live in America and two days ago Joe Biden gave a radical pro abortion speech and yet not a word from our Church leaders correcting him . Catholic people still support Joe Biden
The problem is that the abuse of children can divert their natural heterosexual natures. Can we condone this abuse? Surely we see how pornografic material is damaging society? Do we condone that abuse?
Robert, who else would you give this level of subservience to ? it is long past time to look at bergolio as he truly is , his behavior, actions, and those that surround him by his choice are hurting the faithful. This would be unacceptable in a seminarian, priest or bishop, but he gets a pass , he is neither holy nor a spiritual father.
The Church will survive Pope Francis and his probable Masonic guides. Everything we care about is under fierce but hidden attack, the core of our Faith, Constitution, family, sovereignty, identity, and our national security. I feel sure that God has allowed this battle to separate his own holy people from the loveless consumers. The battle serves a great purpose and God will bring a tremendous victory to his own.
If the hierarchy can change the Mass to the new Mass and the Old Mass has not passed away of its own accord in 40 plus ears and in actuality is growing it says a really BIG something. But if they can change the Mass why not other things or all things? Just go ahead and get rid of prayer… but we have Mercy, start a new Religion based on salvation by Mercy? We all get mercy from God freely by His Loving Grace. No no no no no Do not follow the fools! It’ll be too late to practice the faith when you meet God on the last day, your supplications will be too late, ignorance will not be an excuse for choosing to be foolish and following those that had empty hearts, hearts that could not see nor hear the Trinity. Fortify your selves in prayer every day all day in every aspect of your day be grateful, thankful, ask only for what you need, fasting from things that make you the camel that cannot go through the narrow entryway to God. Pray the Rosary!
I Believe That The Time Of Mercy Is Drawing To A Close Very Soon!!! Brother's And Sister's Wake Up And Repent Of ALL Of Your Sin's!!! And Please Accept Our Precious Lord And Saviour Yeshua Jesus Christ For Your Precious Blood Sacrifice On Calvary For The Redemption Of ALL Of Us Sinner's Shalom And Amen!✝️✝️🛐🛐📛🕊️🕊️🕊️❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🤰🤱🧬🤰🤱✨👑✨🦁🦁🦁❣️❣️❣️🌺🌺🌺😇🌟🤗🙏🙏🙏🇨🇦🇮🇱♾️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🦅🗽‼️
Bravo. People love saying “God is love” and “God is truth” as breezy generalities; but truth that confronts sin is called hate speech, today. It would be better to keep trying to speak the truth in love, and bear the consequences (Lord, help us), than to speak half-truths in order to appear loving. The Bible has very pungent things to say about the sin of Sodom, and it must be noted; but in order to take the log out of our own eyes we have to confront our own hearts.
Have you heard about the priest in Texas who has been receiving messages from Jesus? Jesus called Pope Francis a ursuper 😬 I personally know this priest & he is the most humble holy priest I’ve ever known in my life. I believe the messages are truly coming from God.
Mission of Divine Mercy? It is very powerful and if true is A very timely message. I saw it first on Lifesite News & they now have a small UA-cam channel
Jesus told the truth - some accepted, and some rejected but he didn't recant what he said. Of course we must speak the truth in charity, at the right time and in a non-aggressive manner.
@@valwhelan3533No , the non aggressive manner gave us the scandals and the filth mccarrick, rupnick, mahoney, martin and so many others. The lack of moral clarity from the hierarchy and some priests is unacceptable, who else and what other entity would you extend that to ?. Fear not kindness restrains the wicked, the " reforms " that have been instituted came from aggressive prosecution and outrage from the laity, reminder we fill their collection plate, they don't fill ours.
I don't think the Church ever taught or said that exploiting workers, lying, and cheating "didn't matter." Certainly the latter two were emphasized when I was a child and preteen (pre-Vatican II, I might add).
Thanks Robert. Thankfully, thankfully, we have enough papal teaching before 2013, to direct us, the flock. We don't have to rely on bergoglio thankfully. The folk who adhere to bergoglios behaviour and words, are the ones who are endangering themselves. Those of use who ignore/oppose bergoglio cannot be endangered by adhering to his behaviour and words. I'm not in dispute with those flock who retain fealty to bergoglio. That is their own decision. Personally I try to adhere to the teachings prior to 2013. In fact, if I can remain within the 10 Commandments, I'm doing really well.
It's honourable that you don't want to speak badly of the pope due to the fact that other people might sin due to what you say....but.... 1) each person is responsible for their own passions, it is not right to hold back information that people need to know just in case it upsets them. Each person has to be charitable, but informed. 2) this pope has done and said some pretty shocking things, if we hide that fact we are leading people into sin by not correcting them in the faith. Let's face it the faith has been watered down enough, what we need now is truth. Even if the truth is hard to accept. And, going back to point 1, if people start to hate him and not pray for him, they are not being very Catholic. 3) the Church is in a bad way. She's going through the Passion with Our Lord. If anyone abandons her because of what men are doing then may God forgive them. 4) there are many good priests and bishops who say there is a chastisement coming, if that's the case we don't need any more cover ups. Souls are at stake. So many Catholics are popesplaining the bad/incorrect teachings away, ignoring the dismantling of the Mass and justifying the pachamamas. They are deluding themselves as much as those who listen to them. Our obedience is to the Holy Trinity, not to a man who decided long ago to stop calling himself the Bishop of Christ and of whom the Stonecutters were happy about being appointed, which speaks volumes.... Edited note: after the Russian Orthodox condemned it, the Coptic's have now cut off ties with the Vatican over the heretical Fiducia Supplicans. Francis and his cohorts are dismantling the Church piece by piece. You shall know them by their fruits...
I learned a lot these past 4 years about the Catholic faith from great Catholic youtubers. Thank you and God bless. Also following Fr. Mike schmitz bible in a year podcase and catechism in a year podcast really helps because I tried to study the bible on my own and failed.... and the catechism I only used for reference for sins and stuff. Is there a canon law book that I can buy?
1Co 6:18-20 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Calling a spaid a spaid isnt evil!! We are absolutely to judge actions and this fella aint the pope he is an antipope and we have had this in history havemt we?...and the saints say cry out with the power of a thousand tongues the world is rotten because of silence!!! It cant be more clear and not pointing to the origin of the division and heresy is like putting a bandaid on a bullet wound. It's frustrating for me because I believe strongly that Bergoglio knows that catholics have been conditioned not to talk against the pope and he has weaponized it and he can and will say heresy and noone will come at him. But we should not be silent in fact we need to fight.
"oil warning signs" remember the words from the Letter to the hebrews chapter 3, vers 15 The Lord in his great Mercy warn us when we seem to drift away.. God bless you fellow catolic brother from Irelandfor your message.
Robert, face facts. Stop covering up for this pope. There is no need. We can all see things are wrong with his pontificate. Give up being nice about him. End of. The men in collars are taking their lead from this false pope
In fact, in the Bible emotions and feelings are located in kidneys ('gird up your loins'), the heart being the seat of the will (the mind the intelligence). I sense some dispair: you don't fight big systems (whether the Church belongs to it or not), you just have to love your neighbour and God. Surely, faith must be enhanced through studies. For the rest, we have the Sacraments and the three pillars. God of History is in charge.
You lose me every time you head down the path of assuming these men basically have good intentions. That is an extraordinary leap of faith, in my opinion, in a matter that is not de fide. It is not the most reasonable conclusion from the dataset. This feels to me like a mirror image of the cover that laity provided to clerical abusers.
Yeah? "Behold this was the iniquity of Sodom thy sister, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance, and the idleness of her, and of her daughters: and they did not put forth their hand to the needy, and to the poor " (Ezekiel 16:49)
But happened to the Wrath of God? Deliberate sin and God have no common ground, you can’t have blood on your hands and cry out I am innocent. Sin is like credit card debt, once it loses control, it’s very hard to pay the debt back, and if you don’t pay the debt, there are these nasty people called debt collectors, who are determined to get their masters money back in full. You can’t serve God and sin at the same time.
Love listening to you,if only our priests would show leadership. As sayings goes, Bishops and Priests are going to hell and taking the people with them.🥲🥲🥲🙏🙏🙏

Where there is danger to the faith, it has to be called out in service to the Truth, who is Christ Our Lord.
i feel the same way robert. recently the pope talked about the evils transgender, but yet he gave the greenlight to transgenders being God parents. i'm tired of trying to understand exactly what our faith is bc of all the confusion
Father Loring was a great Jesuit priest
Question: Have you ever attended to the theology of Diarmuid O Murchú. He’s very popular in progressive’ circles.
Our catechism was "alive-o" ... in primary school.. my teacher said the bread reminds us of jesus.... imagin...
I remember.
Keeping silent is wrong, what about the Bishops who are speaking out
Those bishops get cancelled. I live in America and two days ago Joe Biden gave a radical pro abortion speech and yet not a word from our Church leaders correcting him .
Catholic people still support Joe Biden
God i hope im not alive for whats coming
The problem is that the abuse of children can divert their natural heterosexual natures. Can we condone this abuse? Surely we see how pornografic material is damaging society? Do we condone that abuse?
Robert, who else would you give this level of subservience to ? it is long past time to look at bergolio as he truly is , his behavior, actions, and those that surround him by his choice are hurting the faithful. This would be unacceptable in a seminarian, priest or bishop, but he gets a pass , he is neither holy nor a spiritual father.
We remain faithful to the faith as passed from the apostles and we pray for peter
Bergolio is an impostor.
Amen, amen, amen.
Holy Father? A true Holy Father does not destroys the Faith!
No no no no no
Do not follow the fools!
I'm not confused as l know my faith reasonably well. I am saddened to see souls heading for Hell and our Papa not guiding them.
You touch my heart. Never give up.
Have you heard about the priest in Texas who has been receiving messages from Jesus? Jesus called Pope Francis a ursuper 😬 I personally know this priest & he is the most humble holy priest I’ve ever known in my life. I believe the messages are truly coming from God.
It’s true
Francis is not a "Holy Father".
Amen !.
Have you heard the recent mysti from San Antonio? This nun received a very clear message for preists and Bishops. It speaks to you message.
Mission of Divine Mercy? It is very powerful and if true is A very timely message. I saw it first on Lifesite News & they now have a small UA-cam channel
Here is what I don’t understand, if I tell the truth without rancor, and division results, should I have kept quiet?
Jesus told the truth - some accepted, and some rejected but he didn't recant what he said. Of course we must speak the truth in charity, at the right time and in a non-aggressive manner.
@user-tx3ht2te1tthe truth (reality) is not always kind or charitable but it can be expressed charitably.
I like Robert Sara and all the African Bishops who accuse the Pope of heresy
I don't think the Church ever taught or said that exploiting workers, lying, and cheating "didn't matter."
Certainly the latter two were emphasized when I was a child and preteen (pre-Vatican II, I might add).
Rerum Novarum came out in the 1890’s and showed Catholic social teaching
@@briandelaney9710 Francis must be aware of this document. I think his comment is based on Marxist thinking.
so you're saying there's nothing wrong w the 6th commandment?🤔
Synod of sin modalities.
Robert, why oh why do you "love" this destroyer?
Is this father 'holy'?
I don't believe he's Catholic.
Agree 100%! Very well said, angelicfedora1950.
Why do you still think Pope Francis deserves the title of holy father?
Pelvic sins 😂❤
"oil warning signs"
remember the words from the Letter to the hebrews chapter 3, vers 15
The
Lord in his great Mercy warn us when we seem to drift away..
God bless you fellow catolic brother from Irelandfor your message.
Francis works for the AC
The sin of a sexual kind is VERY SERIOUS IN GODS EYES.
Sins of homosexuality are the reason God destroyed Sodom and Gomarrah
And we know what Our Lord said in the parable about the one who did not forgive a debt
Love listening to you,if only our priests would show leadership. As sayings goes, Bishops and Priests are going to hell and taking the people with them.🥲🥲🥲🙏🙏🙏
