Great video super smart idea to remove the arch!! Some suggestions I have for other people is feed the motor wires down the cable trolly starting with the hall cable, route the cables behind the oem controller mounts and then install controller! Also when you power on it will calibrate for 5 seconds before you can hit the throttle :)
@@chargedup6565 Also debated tuning those cables behind the controller but wasn’t sure they would fit after installing theirs battery box i have coming so was waiting for that to test fit
@@MadebyMasepre tune is only set to 48v 30a! So you have 2x the power available still 😎 keep in mind more amps = more torque so you will only get more torque no more top speed :)
It really rips with that motor bro! 🔥 Now you definitely could use some brakes. You can throw them on there quite easy using my mod so check it out, and I can make you a bracket if you don't want to or can't make it yourself. You can get rid of that chain tensioner pretty easy too. If you get a link breaker and a master link you can remove the links until the chain is a little too tight. Then you add some washer between the bracket and the frame to get the tension just right. it's much quieter.
@@mrblubot987 It comes with 3 small Allen screws. Align the holes with the flat spot on the stem , tighten 1 screw with locktite all the way down , then put a mother right ontop of it to lock it in. Then the 3rd one in the 2nd threaded hole on the sprocket

@@chargedup6565 Thank you. I’m loving the kit so far. Excited to get into the VESC APP and tune my kit. I meant to ask , what’s the pre tune specs?

Wee! Looks much faster!
I hit 41mph on open street lol
How did you put the sprocket on and keep it from spinning? Did you use lock tite?
