Thank you! This was very helpful. My favorite cleansing techniques that I personally use are crystals and moon water. I currently don't have sage unfortunately, so when I need to cleanse my supplies, I would use salt. A question that I have for you is, Where do you recommend to get herbs, incense, and sage?
I don’t currently use sage myself as I prefer to use my own and I need to plant new sage, but the absolute best way to get herbs would be to grow them yourself. That way they are infused with your own energy and you know the exact source and condition. Now if you can’t grow plants, then maybe there are occult and new age shops near you that supply herbs. Honestly though - I use a lot of herbs from the herb section in grocery stores. Absolutely nothing wrong with using cooking herbs! 😁 and it’s a lot cheaper too
Dollar store or Walmart if your ins budget for incense and herbs.

First, wonderful video and for being condensed it covered a great bit of information. I really appreciate that you mention sage and that it can come with cultural appropriation. Overall, just don't use sage. There is plenty of European style of herb bundles that help cleanse in a similar fashion; particularly juniper. Incense is another wonderful way to cleanse with smoke (as you mentioned) and it really adds to the home.

Can you make moon water when there’s not a full moon?
Kiera You can make it in any moon phase, but keep in mind that it will then carry the energy of that specific phase. If you charge water in the light of the waning moon, for example, the energy it captured will be appropriate for intentions related to diminishing, binding, banishing, etc. I hope that helps!

Don't know if you'll get this after 11 months but I think the best advice is; you do you. If it feels right then do it. If it feels wrong, don't. That goes for anything Halloween, witchcraft, and life related. Everyone is different and has their own path.
Where do you get your black salt
You can make it. Usually it's made by mixing salt with ashes from the incense you burn or from a fire pit, black pepper and sometimes charcoal. You can even add essential oils or aromatic plants to it if you want. You can of course buy it as well, but it's fairly simple to make.

I've always wash it out in the sink after having cleansed crystals or whatever...is this bad for the environment? I've never thought of putting it in a thrash bag or in the organic waste. Hi, I would first cleanse the space you want to have cleansed, and put some black tourmaline crystals or salt where you can. You can also put a rose quartz (and also the black tourmaline) for more harmony perhaps. Or imagine mirrors around you, with the reflection part in other ppl direction when she is there, set the intention that any rude comments go back to sender… or simply talk it out, but don’t get in the same energy, stay in a peaceful and loving vibe yourself 🙏😊

Can you smoke marijuana while doing spells and cleansings? I use it for my pain from being in a hit and run at age 12.
