- Once upon a time, these lands were inhabited by highly developed civilization, but after global nuclear war citizens of the future turned into primitive barbarians. However, some of them managed to unite in a ten tribes, that successfully surviving on these hostile lands of nuclear winter and fought shoulder to shoulder against the endless hordes of wildlings. But one day, when the ancient enemy was defeated, new wonderful but yet limited lands was discovered, and the truth about this people was revealed: they were able to exterminate all barbarians around them, but not the barbarians inside themselves.
For this battle, I used Community Patch steamcommunity...

It's ironic how America built their empire by technological advantage of having Minutemen over medieval foes, and then lost it because it got an era behind French technology
I dont think it was the tech i think it was minutemen can move way faster through all the forests.

France had the upper hand in technology and DoW'ed at the key moment when they had the Nuke but the US didn't

Started rooting for Rome but when I saw they had a slow start I switched to team france, my god it was clutch against america but what a nice fight

US actually survived the Apocalypse nucléaire, the GDR blitz was too much however.
HOLY SHIT America actually did well. America's bonus might be shit but the miniute men are both why america won so many was and why it lost to france(they lost their mobility.) Holy shit the minute men are op when everything is a forest.
As soon as I seen that France had 3 cities consolidated in a corner I thought they'd win. Then when I seen the infernal yanks spreading across the map unchecked I almost had my doubts. Good job old boney came through in the end.

In this map top is stronger than the bottom sides are better than the middle.The game was mostly decided when France took Osininka and US did not show interest in taking Edirne.
France was in WWI when the US was still in the Civil War.
Which is funny because Germany slowed the US' progress.
There needs to be more barbarian encampments.

Well drat...an American victory would've been oddly appropriate for Memorial Day. Good showing though, especially by Napoleon and his nukes. Quite the "reign of terror" on his part (I know that was Robespierre, and yes, I'll show myself out.)

Please make more of these I crave civilization 5 or 6 so only battles, the one problem is that there’s never a comeback for the second to last team as they usually don’t even out in the late game. Nice to see that a civ actually had a comeback this game.
First I hoped for Germany, then for France to finish US who betrayed all others.

Athanasios Boutas it was obvious the French were going to win the precise moment they dropped the first nuke,the tech gap between the 2 civs was quite large,midwar the French were using death robots and the Americans still infantry.
MineFox C you could guess by the 3 huge French cities France was going to win because nothing beats science in civ 5.

I watch. Two countries left. The US seems to have the advantage. Meanwhile, France: Nuclear bombs are doing BUM heheh xD
US had the most territory but French cities had higher population and higher tech. France was peaceful for most of the game and developed their cities while none of their neighbors wanted to challenge them.

How could France win this game, when they've stayed there without doing anything for like 1000 years after they took celtics.
By getting nuke?
Cause they had two huge cities. City populations grow exponentially in this game, and the most important thing is total population. So they had a huge leg up from the start. You could tell america was gonna do well cause they had the other huge city.
They got ahead in tech, again.
Haven't played this game ion a couple years so I don't remember the civ bonuses they get.
Seems like in many of these videos France out paces the other civs in tech, and dominates.
It was largely a stalemate, till France broke out the robots of doom at the end.
They spent all those years building nukes, apparently
