- A 30-year-old widower realizes that his three children need a mother figure. His youngest daughter feels lonely and finds it hard to cope with schooling. He scouts around for a tutor for his daughter, someone who could also act as her playmate and friend. The lady who arrives -- a cheerful singer and tutor -- brings light to their home lives. Eventually, the father falls in love with her.

Regine's voice when she was younger was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good.
I remember how HUGE this film back then. It was so big that Comedy KING Dolphy had a spin off movie entitled Wanter Perfect Murder.
Shortly after it was released, girls and ladies were wearing Regine's iconic dark lipstick and nail colors in the movie. Not to mention the official soundtrack You Are My Song was a MASSIVE hit, played all over radio stations and number one in charts.
Regine is not only a SUPERSTAR as a singer and as a concert performer but also an undisputed MOVIE QUEEN!

I like this movie! Shout out sa lahat ng batang 90’s😜 napanood ko ito after ng klase ko nung elementary 😂😂 cinema one is real😂😂😂
I feel like I teleported back to the year 1996 when this film was first released nationwide. I missed the youthfulness of Regine at 26 yrs old in this movie and her first box office. It marked her career success not just as a queen songbird diva but as an accomplished actress.

I just love Regine and her movies :) She’s really made a mark not just as one of the best singers we have in the Philippines, but as an actress who’s movies have really been etched in history. Movies that make us remember our childhood :) This is one of my most favorite movie of her :)
