- WHY THIS WAS REUPLOADED:
I posted this a few months ago but had to delete it because of a misunderstanding involving a photograph. A viewer had sent a few photos claiming they were his, however, the real owner of the photo contacted me and requested that I take down videos with them, which I had to do. When I tried to reupload this video right away, I couldn't find the file, so I thought I lost it. However, I recently re-discovered it while organizing my files, so here it is for your viewing pleasure! I also found a couple of other videos I had to take down, but I will have to do more editing to fix those.

I am still working on my Flashback collaboration with Airtime Thrills. Here is why I posted this first:

Theme Park Crazy, What is airtime, and what does it mean.
It’s ok, we understand!
@@froglover3145 Air Time can either be a feeling of weightlessness, while popping you out of your seat (floater air time) or it can be strong and aggressive, and almost eject you from your seat (ejector airtime)
Theme Park Crazy, Thank you for reuploading your videos.
Theme Park Crazy this is what happens when you have a successful channel.
Peter, even though we make jokes of your reuploading, we still appreciate the fact you want to fix your mistakes.
Thanks exactly said

it's kinda heartwarming when parks pay tribute to memorable rides of the past. Even if you think Verbolten isn't as good as Big Bad Wolf, the way they reused that final drop shows they knew how beloved the ride was.
There are more Robin hood track pieces to be found in the Untamed que line than mentioned. Right after the small hill with the train car on it there are several track beams placed vertical as if they where some odd looking tree's around the que
So were not gonna talk about how eurosat dome lowkey looked like space ship earth aka the Epcot ball
I'm sure nobody has noticed in the past 30 years, we definitely should bring it up now.
Haha, the creator of the Europapark stated that his park is modeled after the disney theme parks. The Eurosat isn‘t the only example: Europapark also has an attraction called „Piraten in Batavia (Pirates of Batavia), wich is (definetly was before the fire and still is now after the remodeling) heavily inspired by pirates of the carribean. Then we also have the haunted house which has a lot of similarities to haunted mansion.
And let‘s not forget that the Europaparks mascot, Ed Euromaus, is like Mickey a mouse with two male friends (in Eds case an elephant and a goat whose names I can‘t remember) and a female counterpart (called Eddina).
Coincidence? I guess not.
I always like hearing that a park was able to reuse a loading station for a future ride. I never knew it for a while, but it turned out the former Vortex at Kings Island had also reused The Bat’s loading station, a coaster with a troubled past, much like Viper. Although it’s not as fitting for the theme (if there even is one) as The Bat, it still was a nice design.
I think keeping the flywheel as decoration was much cheaper than getting a specialist company to pick it up and deliver it somewhere for scrap.
Fun fact for those new to Wetherspoons - They all have unique crapets designed for each place
They also are most usually in old buildings that have lots of history, in which you'll find lots about in each restaurant!
Cheap place for decent enough food and a good place to drink!
Was watching this video in the background while I did other things like I usually do and got surprised by a mention of Blackpool :') It's my favourite park, and then for Spoons to be mentioned too? Incredible, stunning, thank you for the mentions in this video, you did the park justice
2:14 I remember this ride's station, because I visited Waldameer back in 2021.
Me knowing everything but re watching it to give tpc money
Lol wouldn't be TPC without a reupload.
In 2007, my mom, terrified of roller coasters went on the Hulk with me on our vacation. I don't think she took a breath the entire time, but I cherish her going with me on it. She passed away in 2008 in an accident. In 2015 I went back to universal to ride it again, but was very sad that it was under reno. Thanks to your video, I realize a little bit of it is still left
I like that Carowinds during scarowinds in October will put out tombstones that will have defunct attractions on them
Holy crap! I just saw my brother and I at 11:30 in the front row of Viper. Funny I was saying to myself "I think I actually liked Viper as a kid" and seconds later I see a video of myself enjoying it 😄
Crap, very freaking lucky
No way! That’s so cool omg
Oh man, I recognized the Hulk one! We just went there last year!
I didn't ride the coaster, but I stood out and watched as my family did. Eventually I realized when you hear a roar or growl, that the carts are about to shoot out. That was just so much fun to watch, simple as it was.
safety coaster you could call anything other than that a safety coaster
I think I had a stroke reading that.
what
@@resyal4916
Obama alert is trying to say it’s ironic that a self-dubbed “safety coaster” required an on-site nurse to treat injured riders.
The station for Vortex at King's Island was originally the station for the original Bat. The holes for the old suspended track were never covered up and the Bat's iconic trains were stored underneath the station for years.
Why don’t they re add them back to the new bat?
Hey TPC! I just found your channel, and I'm absolutely hooked on your videos. I have no clue if you've been there before, but you should totally review Dollywood's coasters! They have quite a few, including family coasters that are actually kind of fun, and I'm a young adult. I've been going to Dollywood for years, and it's a super safe park, plus it has good food, so it's a win win. Thanks for your awesome content! ♡
This is why I appreciate this channel so much. TPC cares about his content, sees flaws, and fixes them to further please and satisfy his fan base. Keep it up 👍
Me too
The Phoenix at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg Pennsylvania was once "The Rocket" coaster in Playland Park San Antonio TX. I believe you have shown the Phoenix on your channel before. Great ride, great old coaster. Thank you for the vids.
I’m on a binge of the channel, and when you got to the Comet and Great Escape, I got so excited. I’d go there every summer. The Comet is a great coaster.
Dude, you're a charismatic guy, and your videos are always fascinating and informative. I never thought I'd enjoy learning about the details and history of roller coasters and their manufacturers as much as I do when watching your documentaries.
I'm a coward myself, I'm afraid of riding anything that goes too fast or too high, but maybe, one day, I'll be brave enough to take on a good roller coaster or two, and when that day comes, I'll have you to thank. Thanks for being a very cool guy and making great content, keep it up!
What I like mainly on rides is that most rides ive been at in Europe, you get to see the old carts and vehicles used in the past on the same ride by the side of the newer carts.
Its great to see the park managers maintaining old equipment for show and not demolish them or throwing them away at some random scrapyard.
There's another one in the Netherlands that was recycled. The bobsled "Bob" was replaced by an electric powered mine train "Max and Moritz", but they kept the loading station.
ah yes the classic TPC cycle...
Anton Schwartzkopf was a genius. His flywheel launch system propelled roller coasters to new speeds and inspired the invention of other roller coaster launch systems like hydraulic launch systems (Top Thrill Dragster, Kingda Ka, Formula Rossa) and magnetic launches (Incredicoaster, Helix, Psyche Underground)
My mom told me that The Velvet Coaster used to be a rollercoaster, but later on they turned it into a nice pub. I really liked it there but most of the time we got to see the view of Blackpool because we went to the top. We also saw this pirate guy in the lift 🤣🤣🤣 I love The Velvet Coaster, I bet we're going back there next time we give Blackpool a few-day visit!
12:36 I rode Verbolten yesterday, and on top of what’s mentioned here, I got the Big Bad Wolf storyline. There are quite a few ways Verbolten pays homage to its predecessor.
I remember Viper - I live in the NY area still and I actually liked that ride, despite it was a little rough. El Toro is fine, but I liked Viper. Also been on Big Bad Wolf in Williamsburg which was a lot of fun. I read about the bankruptcy of the company that built it - was sad about that. At least the new version still goes over the river. I also had been on the old Hulk coaster in Florida a few years ago - little did I know a year later it would be shut down and rebuilt. Thanks for sharing, brings back memories.
My two best friends and I spent my 21st birthday riding TheHulk over and over again at Islands of Adventure. The park had almost no one there, we made a big deal about my B-day and we walked on to every ride. It was pretty boss. That was almost 20 years ago.
It almost makes up for the multi-hour waiting lines when the original Universal Studios. Rides like KingKong, Jaws, Back to the future, & Backdraft. That was earl/mid ‘90s I guess.
When is ur b-day?
Hooray, a new TPC video! You made my morning. This video got me thinking, have you considered doing a "Top X Rocky Mountain Construction Redesigns?" I know you have featured their coasters in other videos on wooden coasters/individual parks, but it would be interesting to see them all collected and ranked in one place. Keep up the great work!
The Hulk with the original track piece has always been there, the reason it has the original piece is because it was for the original ride and they liked it so much they kept it. No point of fixing something that isn’t ridden
Cyclone safety coaster: Real life Fiery Fist O Pain
Roller cowerds
I've been on both the Robin Hood and Untamed... and loved them both. Honestly I was upset when Robin Hood was being replaced, but after riding Untamed I more or less changed my mind. Man that thing is a thrill. I might even call it my personal biggest thrill in the park.
Love Waldameer! After losing Geauga Lake, we always went to Waldameer as a family when I was a teenager! Still go to Waldameer every summer!
Wow the quality of his videos are so nice. Love his videos so much
Nice seeing the old Holiday Park coaster mentioned in your video. It's a park relatively local to me and I remember the coaster from advertisements but had never ridden it - only GeForce.
Aw, Viper! That was the very first coaster I went on that went upside down to get over my fear! Rest in peace dear friend who hurt my head and neck. You did...well, really nothing great but you did help me go on the grown-up coasters. So that's...something.
Theme Park Crazy and reuploads
Name a better pair
I'll wait.
Greg Sloan British Kids show producers and smoking acid
Schneider and feet
fingers and toes
Roller and coaster
Clickbait videos and calling Wicked Twister a dangling coaster.
Another random Blackpool Pleasure Beach fact for you: on my second to last visit there, I noticed they had re-used some of the old figures, animals and vehicles from the river caves ride and the old ‘Gold Mine’ ride for “scenes” you see whilst riding the little train that goes around the park. Also some of the cars from the old log flume are now planters at points are the park.
Amazing video - AS USUAL!!!
can you do a video talking about the future of six flags?
It's been a while finally been waiting thank you
Theme parks are very creative when it comes to reusing and recycling. I'm hoping if el toro is shut down they can re use its station again for a new ride
The Sirocco in Belgium got stuck upside down in August 1997 i think that is also one of the main reasons why they built a building around the loop afterwards and changed it's name :-).
My mom actually went on the cyclone at crystal beach and I found out that the comet actually inspired the making of my first roller coaster I went on (Silver Comet) lol😂
When I was there last winter, I believe the Eurosat Bench was still standing behind Eurosat, near Silver Star's entrance.
I think a bench made of old roller coaster tracks is a cute idea and wherever it is now, I hope the Mack family still enjoys sitting on it
You forgot the most notable one in my opinion... slinky dog dash at Hollywood studios in Orlando Florida. This ride uses left over track to give you the feeling the mat Andy was really building this track from a box and instructions
Here's another one to consider. At Knott's Berry Farm, after the Boomerang closed to make way for Hangtime, they decided to put the boomerang loops in the exact same spot as the boomerang loops from Boomerang.
Here's a couple more: Laser Loop's station is now the station for Phantom's Revenge. And the first half of Phantom's Revenge was the Steel Phantom. Oh, and part of Thunderbolt's track was from arge Pippin. Also, Banshee's station is the same as Son Of Beast's station.
Lots of great ones there! But actually, Banshee does not use the SOB station. The station can still be found walking back to the Bat though and there is still track you can see in the station as well 🙂
I think it’s also worth mentioning that Z Force’s station at Six Flags Great America was re used for Iron Wolf, and then used again for Goliath.
Love your mention of the Crystal Beach Cyclone and all the footage.i recall watching this footage in the 90s as a kid, as apart of a documentary. It was said to be one of the best coasters ever built! And it looked insane!! It’s nice to know after all these years why coasters don’t always stand the test of time. Some just weren’t meant to last 😭
Can someone tell RMC to bring this design back??
The most memorial reused piece of a theme park ride is the track of Beezles Bob's Trail replaced by Over the Hill in 2006 and Over the Hill was replaced by Over the Hill 2 Spooksville in 2017.
Oh my god, I had no idea the Nickelodeon Streak had so much history behind it! That's really fun, I'm glad I got to ride on the Streak, it was my gateway into loving big thrill rides
Did you know in Efteling in the netherlands there is a wooden coaster build with old wood from the old coaster
Imagine if RMC was around about 15 years ago. Then, Great Adventure likely would have rmc'd rolling thunder. That would be epic
Noah Berlin that would’ve been amazing!
The removal of Rolling Thunder is the only thing that pisses me off about Great Adventure. If it were up to me, I would RMC it for the park's upcoming 50th anniversary.
Noah Berlin they were around 15 years ago
Mike R It wasnt as mainstream throughout the amusemnt industry and there products werent quite as good back then. They didnt modify the layout that much but just made the rides smoother. Also, The removal of rolling thunder WAS actually before there first major hybrid conversion
James Shewan I dont think it is fair to be mad at great adventure. RMC was just a small company at the time of rolling thunders removal and they hadnt completed any hybrid conversions at that point. Im just saying I wish RMC had been established as much as it is right now at the time of RMC’s remocal
There is also Buzzsaw falls at Silver Dollar City having the lift hill and a turn before the hill being converted into Powderkeg
And the boat on powder kegs station
I think that's in the remnants of removed coasters video...
The Silver Comet, a CCI at the (currently) defunct Fantasy Island I'm Western New York, is named after the Crystal Beach Comet
Phantom's Revenge is missing from this list. It not only uses the original track from Arrow Dynamics from the station up the lift hill from Steel Phantom but also uses the station from the Laser Loop.
(Did this comment on the original upload, but it's worth doing it again...)
For anyone wondering how Universal Orlando (one of Disney's biggest rivals in the theme park business) is allowed to use Marvel characters, the answer is "grandfather clause". Islands of Adventure was opened in 1999, a decade before Disney's acquisition of Marvel. Upon acquiring Marvel, Disney agreed to honor Marvel's previous agreement with Universal; this is why there are no big-name Marvel characters in Walt Disney World or Tokyo Disneyland, as Universal still has exclusive rights in those areas. (Side characters like Dr. Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy are fair game for Disney at those parks though, as Universal wasn't "using them" at the time of Marvel's acquisition.)
Germany’s first inverting Roller Coaster was actually Super Spirale, which was first constructed in 1978 and than sold to Movie Park Germany for the 1979 season. But still great Video!
The 1 mile long steel cable for the cable car in six flags over Texas was reused for the decorative fences around the mine train and mini mine train
Kinda surprised that Phantom's Revenge didn't make that list. Besides the of course using a lot of Steel Phantom track and supports, the station was actually used for Laser Loop, then Steel Phantom, and now Phantom's Revenge
I hope Kings Island saves remnants of Vortex and use them someway like Alton Park used their Corkscrew ride
I was hoping they'd keep the station like they kept the SoB station, but that was demolished rather quickly.
At least they sold pieces of Vortex. It was great of them to do that.
It feels good having the hulk #1 on a list it’s so underrated
I re downloaded rctc classic because of you, now its taken over my life
Alton towers uk could of just scraped the corkscrew but instead they kept Double inversion element as part of the grand entrance it looks really cool
Been here since 40k, keep up the good work.
Viper at Six Flags was my first roller coaster... It was SO uncomfortable and my friend almost fell out once, thankfully she didn't! But my favorite coaster there is Bizzaro (formally Medusa).
Busch Gardens, Virginia us one of my favorite parks ever!
Hey! There’s a remnant of a ride at silver dollar city called, “buzzsaw falls”
Outside of the queue building there’s a track going up and breaking and on the top of the queue building a piece of broken track and a buzzsaw falls cart
Also, by the queue for wildfire, there's a remnant of a old water ride named, "Jim owens float trip"
Powder Keg also reuses a lot of track from Buzzsaw Falls. It's weird to see a lift hill on an air-launched coaster, but it works.
The Comet is located at my home park The Great Escape! I wasn't expecting to see that pop up neat!
Here are some other Reused Roller Coaster Remnants!
1. Buzzsaw Falls's lift hill and track at Silver Dollar City: Recycled into Powder Keg's lift hill.
2. Steel Phantom's lift hill and supports at Kennywood: Recycled into Phantom's Revenge's lift hill and supports.
3. Joker's Revenge's queue line and funhouse at Six Flags Fiesta Texas: Recycled into Pandemonium's queue line.
4. Thunder Express's station at Dollywood: Recycled into Tennessee Tornado's station.
5. Shockwave's entrance at Six Flags Great America: Recycled into Superman: Ultimate Flight's entrance.
6. Greezed Lightnin's station at Kentucky Kingdom: Recycled into Lightning Run's station.
7. Roller Soaker's station at Hersheypark: Recycled into Breakers Edge's station.
8. Firehawk's photo booth at Kings Island: Recycled into Orion's entrance.
9. Bob's station at Efteling: Recycled into Max And Moritz's station.
Steel Phantom/Phantom's Revenge also reused the station from Laser Loop.
As a Pennsylvanian that live near (and works in) Erie, PA, Its always nice to hear about Waldameer...
My high school math teacher actually helped design the Hulk Coaster. She was a coaster engineer for many years before leaving to settle down.
Honestly surprised the suspended swinging coaster hasn't been redone by any other manufacturers as of late.. I thought they were awesome family coasters.. The Big Bad Wolf was epic.
The incredible hulk coaster was fun. I rode it years ago and the launch at the beginning was the coolest part. Glad they updated it instead of trashing it.
Eruosat's change looks like the best one, and a lot of fun.
The launch on The Incredibles Hulk is so jarring. You can’t even tell where the launch starts by looking at the drive tires since they only spin when sensors detect the presence of the train and only then do they rev up!
My favourite part of the video is:

i have an idea for a rollercoaster model:
the free-roller
the cars are suspended below a circular steel track, but the suspension point has a thin gap to allow a fin* (which ill get to later) and they travel across a smooth track. eventually, the cars are going to get through a loop, and thats the first use of the fin. there are two types of the loop: a free-roll loop and a locked loop. the free-roll loop doesnt have a fin attached to the track, allowing the cars to spin freely. the locked loop does have a fin, which locks the cars to get across the loop like other rollercoasters. same goes for zero-G rolls and corkscrews. they also travel across a vertical lift before the action, and lightly descend and accelerate across a sloping track with a spiral turn.
*long extrusion that locks the cars in place
15:45 I sat on this bank. It's being displayed next to CanCan Coaster on the side next to Silverstar as of 2021.
Was that Busch Gardens' Big Bad Wolf in the intro? Sad to see it has been shut down. That was my favorite ride as a kid.
The rest of the video answered that question 😅
Was surprised not to see the extra pieces of track that were ordered for Nemesis for use on the station legs
My local park KENNYWOOD did this with now is the phantoms revenge coaster. It still use the old laser loop coaster (shuttle loop coaster like the first coaster mentioned) station as Steel phantom coaster by arrow. I think phantom revenge (it might have been fully replaced by morgan manufacturing) still uses steel phantoms lift, first and second drop.
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Sirocco covered the loop not because of the noise but because the breaks blocked in the looping. The riders where stuck for hours. They covered it to put a staircase around it so if it happend again they could exit the riders more easely. Because the poort reputation it got they made it psiky underground and the incident has mainly been forgotten .
8:02 now untamed is tied with the horrible condor also at Walibi Holland for the record of most inversions on a coaster in the Netherlands.
I have several choices for your Rise & Fall videos: Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Firehawk at Kings Island and Corkscrew at Alton Towers!
How in the world isn't the corkscrew from ShockWave over the entrance to Six Flags Great America?!?!?!
Your pronunciations are incredible!!
Thanks for your informative content! I really enjoy it to whatch your videos!😎❤
Greetings from Germany!🇩🇪✌🤗
Have you considered blurring out the images? It's pretty easy to do in YT editor.
Have you been to Wild Waves/Enchanted Village Theme Park in Washington? If not, I would love to help arrange to have you come out! The park only has three coasters... a Zamperla kiddie, an arrow looper, and my favorite... the first s&s woodie. I used to be a ride operator and trainer for it, and it may not be a record breaker but it is smooth as butter and worth the credit! Make a video about our dinky little park :)
2:44 that clock is used in a rollercoaster in bobbejaanland belgium it’s called revolution
No dislikes? Is it heaven?
I almost thought this was an all new video.
isn’t there a remnant from the Great American Scream Machine roller coaster in the safari of Six Flags Great Adventure as well?
I like Theme park crazy
1, i love seeing people talk about waldameer! I grew up in erie and would go every year lol 2, i ALWAYS heard the story of revine flyer 1 but no one could ever show proof until now so thanks! Haha
