Plus, a lot of design space done poorly. Especially in the laundry area, the top smaller windows, and those blocks built onto the wall, making it “the only” place to put at TV. SMH.
I like this home alot. It is all an empty nester certainly needs or a small family. You show homes well, because you point out what makes them homey--our family or family memories. Modular housing is what allowed my Grandma to move from Chicago to Napa to be near me and my folks. She lived in an apartment in Chicago where we were all born then owned two single wides in a Napa mobile home park before spending her final years in a nice senior apartment. I'd ride my 12 speed Schwinn to her trailer and we'd play 500 Rummy and she would spoil me even when I was a young adult with fudge and sodas. We loved her because she even when old did not 'think' old and she even went to Disneyland with me, my Mom and my Dad in '77 by car, and then Magic Mountain. Even though she did not ride coasters my Dad did, and we also went to Knotts on that trip. I loved her choice of single wide homes--my fav had a breakfast nook at the front with windows on three sides and that is where we played 500 Rummy, my favorite card game because it relies on memory and not just chance in 'Chance's' Home World (pardon the pun, lol).

CHANCE?? THIS IS ONE UNIQUE LOOKING HOUSE!! IT'S NOT ONE OF MY FAVORITES BUT FOR SOMEONE WHO LIKES THIS STYLE?? IT'S FINE FOR THEM!! I DO LIKE THE INTERIOR!! THANK YOU!!
I have been a kitchen remodeler for 40 years, why did I never think of converting toe kicks into roll out drawers. That's a great idea. Not very deep drawers but you could put a lot of small stuff in there
Great porch and outside curb appeal!!! It was much more open than I tend to like, but this house had a lot of nice features and looked well built. Loved the fireplace and matching island brick design. I actually liked the extra features, such as the foyer closet, hidden bottom drawers, and the medicine cabinets in the bathrooms. If I had enough moola, I’d love to have this as my California beach bungalow. But, I live out east, and can no longer afford the California lifestyle. If I could, I would enjoy this home by the Pacific Ocean🤩
Love it and I'm ready to take delivery! All I need is to have it set up in Texas, knock off ½ the ridiculous California price, constuct a covering over the front porch and add a screened porch out back. ❤
No one likes a hater @@Oldcarnut63 we will gladly keep our California lol we have nice weather all year and access to beaches, mountains, deserts, valleys, beautiful national parks ❤️ city life or small town life, we choose.
Excellent home chance simple roof easy in the future to shingle and enough room for in laws or grandparents to live in easy to clean and take care of.. Steve from WV. Glad you made it to West Virginia!!
I had a feeling when you said it was from around Orange County it was gonna be up there in price. Typical of California. I have seen a home simialr to this in Oregon that is almost 100K less.
That is a really nice sized ADU ! What if I buy a larger piece of property with an old house on it and then put two of these on the property ?!? One for me and one for ??? Stay safe in CA, Chance. There's a lot of 😵💫 people out here. 😬🥺
A lot of people have ADUs build for their multi-generational families. Housing is too expensive here in California otherwise. The only reason I can afford my house is that it was my parents' home before they passed. My parents paid less than 175K for their house and now it's worth over 550K+. It's crazy expensive and I wish I could move, but it's not feasible right now.
I love this for an empty nester. But $253,000? Not a chance. I could get a nicer larger modular home for less than that. Nice job as always though Chance.
Jesus Christ died for our Sins according to the scriptures and that he was buried and that He rose Again the third day praise God praying for everyone Everyday God bless you all
I don't pay attention to price - it's California - everything costs 3x's the amount as normal states. That said - it probably isn't available on the east coast - but I think the floor plan is nice and could be built for half the cost as this unit.
Interesting house. The cabinetry is not something we could live with. Needs wood cabinets not painted boxes. Also the sliding glass doors in the master bedroom would need to be replaced with just a regular window.
I like the pullout draw on the bottom....but it's not for me. Too old too far to bend.lol Kitchen is nice. Wish it had a diningroom. Thank you for the tour.
there's nothing wrong with the video but you have shown some real nice triple wides for that price with 3beds and 3baths and a den oh yeah your in California
It's a nice prefab, but again some odd design/construction decisions here as with some of the others you have shown. Like the bedroom opening up to the same deck as the front entrance like that. Just feels, weird ... like that should open to a more private area than right at the front of the house onto the same deck without any separation even. And that random open space above the door leading in to the utility room is ... odd ... feels like someone just forgot to put the plasterboard across that section and then everyone who worked on it after assumed that was done on purpose when it shouldn't have been.
Got a question. Ever since you’ve been showing these homes out of California, I have noticed that there is a panel, shaped like a door, no windows, no door knobs, or latches. It is normally either on the back, or on one of the sides. Just wanted to know what that was?
Love your channel!👊🏼… these prices are crazy 😂😂. Minus some of the fine decoratives that we saw that basic unit shouldn’t cost more than 120,000 and that would still be decked out with all appliances and fixtures. You do realize that someone making $125,000 a year which struggle to maintain a mortgage on a quarter million dollar home why would they get one That’s essentially a mobile home. Greedy, greedy, greedy.
and just remember any home you buy from California has to be built to earthquake specs that means they will not go down no matter the state you putting it in
I would love to see my elderly mother in something like this on our property. But absolutely not at that price!! As soon as I heard it was from California I knew it would be a big nope! Nice showing of it though!
You're doing a fantastic job! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
If you noticed the red tape at the window sill behind the sink, that was my job when I worked in the mobile home industry. I carried around a roll of red tape and flagged imperfections, code violations, incomplete work and a "rework" crew would come in behind me to correct flagged items.
It is just me, or is there genuinely a lot of “hate” for CA?? I have seen sooo many negative comments on all of the CA home tours… 😂. I thought this was a nice home. It reminds me of others he has shown, but I feel because it’s CA, man, the “hate.” 😂
My heart broke as soon as I see the price. At least ya feed the dream eh Chase? These peeps don’t understand why they even became a thing…cuz we couldn’t afford a “real” stick or stone built home. Now even an ADU is unattainable. 😩💔
It's a pretty little house but not worth $253k... $153k maybe. I owned a doublewide trailer (manufactured home) for 11 years before I sold it. It was beautiful inside with 3 large bedrooms, kitchen dining room separate, and a large Living room w/fireplace, with a big master bedroom with an ensuite with a huge sunken tub, 2 his and her double sinks and a separate shower... I paid $29.5k for it in 2007. I sold it in 2020 just before the pandemic hit for $42.5k... it was paid off so I pocketed the entire amount. The home had 1568 square feet, 2 full bathrooms and a mud room. Today you can't get that home for under $175k... in many ways I wish I had held onto it if I had know the housing market would soar in price the way it has. I believe people are taking full advantage of consumers. The banks have made it impossible for the average working man or woman to afford housing, then companies like this take advantage by selling these tiny houses for far more than what I paid for my home. It should be illegal... but it is California and they make everything unaffordable.
Much larger than I would think of for an ADU. 🤔 Probably for someone who wants to rent some of their property. Lotta money for an ADU too. 😕 Good tour though 🤷🏾♀️
$253,000 for That ??????? Heck no!I tell you one thing at least here in hick state West by god Virginia double Wide and single wife homes aren’t price Out Of this world where no one that has an income of under 75,000$ a year is more or less homeless at least the under 75,000$ a year people are able to buy a home on this state and not get it repoed in less than a year the mid level ( meaning not the most dirt cheap built but dang close too it anyway) double wide in this state is about 70-80,000$ dollar price and a single wife on the same build level runs about 47,-69,999$ price range ! Wow that outnof this world pricing for under 1200sqf
I apologize in advance but I keep hearing one of two things, either you're omitting the "B" in CABINETS or you're saying "caDnets". It making me crazy. ❤😅
The price is pretty crazy for an 1100 sq ft home. I think you could build an ADU for cheaper than that.
I hate to say it but champion homes has lost it's mind if they think this home is worth 253k dollars
Its California the land of fruits and nuts . Everything is over priced
We can get you this home for much less. That’s the price for permits and move in ready.
$253,000!
Absolutely no way!
Chance you are adorable tho!
in Comifornia, $250k is crazy affordable.
Housing in California is expensive.
I agree. That's insane. I could have it stick built and turn key finished for that. Including appliances and furnished with pots, pans, towels etc. 🤣
Plus, a lot of design space done poorly. Especially in the laundry area, the top smaller windows, and those blocks built onto the wall, making it “the only” place to put at TV. SMH.
@@bobbysmith4370 Yes, those blocks look cheap and stupid. I also agree with the laundry.

Most municipalities in CA require minimum 1500 sq ft for the primary house. Unsure how this ADU is innovating or innovative.
Nice home. Not fond of the windows above the regular windows in the living room and master bedroom. Thanks for the tour. Happy New Years wishes.
Yeah.... not impressed with the kick-drawers in the kitchen. The whole house is a: meh.
Nope, price is crazy but it's coming out of Cali, so that explains the out of this world pricing.

Why would anyone want drawers that close to the floor?

It's beautiful, but while $250k may be a steal in California, I'd rather buy a larger place in the midwest, wow :o
The weather isn’t beatable in California.

What is the price for a 2 /2 very simple
Didn't care for the lay out no dining room area just seems push together. Didn't like the outside appearance.
I’m not a fan of the open kitchen, living room. Kitchen is too small . Price is too high. No not for me.
Whaz that box 📦 looking thing near the back door
define a ADU....that's more like a small 3 bedroom apartment. where's the legal handicap WHEELCHAIR COMPLIANT ADU
