You think? For boots, when it comes to pushing the 'boundary' I often think of out-there silhouettes - think tall heels, rather than the material/colour of the boot on a pretty 'standard' silhouette! I feel like this is a pair of boots that a lot of people can easily pull off!
Sangiev I was mainly just making a joke since this video is about confidence in our styles 😂 the silhouette is definitely a classic style; personally I think the glitter is 🔥 but I’m not sure I’d know how to wear them. Excited to see you style it!

I love the comparison of confidence to a muscle. I had to ease my way into wearing some of my boots, but now I wear them everyday. I’d love to see a discussion about how you would build your wardrobe up if you had to start all over again. I think that would be interesting to hear. Anyways, love the videos!

something that really helped me gain confidence in what i wear is having honest and supportive friends. friends that will tell you if they don’t like what you’re wearing but not a mean way but will maybe give some constructive criticism. but most importantly friends who will gas you up when you are wearing something really nice. that positive reinforcement was crucial for me when i doubted my outfits
Thomas Spelman Honestly this, when I first wore my pair of very high heeled tabi boots (the female version, I have small tootsies) with memphis jeans and a suit jacket my friends who are relatively fashion normies definetly thought it was weird but they really gassed me up
Highly disagree with this, at least in my case. I've nearly worn whatever I wanted since I got into fashion and while I admit my earlier outfits were absolutely terrible I believe I have progressed to a pretty good point and yet the entire time my friends were never supportive and just trash talked me the entire time, the only reason they don't anymore is because they are used to it. Of course it's more of friendly banter and nothing too serious but even so it was never fun to know that as soon as I met up with my friends I was going to get annihilated for 5 minutes straight. Either way I completely ignored their opinions and kept pushing on wearing what I wanted and kept progressing and nowadays the amount of compliments I get is ridiculous, whether it be from strangers, family, or the occasional friend or acquaintance, so I can only imagine what I wear is half decent if people are willing to stop me on the street and tell me. My point is that I would of never got to this point if I actually listened to my friends and their opinions/advice. Obviously depends on your friends and fashion and blah blah but I just want to put this out there if somebody is doubting their fits because of their friends.
I love going out and letting people see my style. I know some people are giving me compliments in their heads and I know some people are saying WTH. I love it all. There are few things better than leaving your house knowing you're fresh. 😁

Almost copped a pair of matte black chain harness leather boots from FTF on Grailed for 234 and someone fuckin snagged em right from under my feet. Mad salty.
Those brown boots with those Baby blue pants is such a good look. That reminds me of a fit my grandpa wore when we was getting dressed to play cards.
So many people try and buy expensive designer clothing think it will give them confidence and this may work to a certain degree for so long but if you genuinely don’t like it what’s the point buy clothes that you are comfortable wearing and you like if you like the clothing it will translate to confidence and that radiates onto other people and make them think you know how to dress and that will give you more confidence

Honestly though, it feels amazing to feel a bit uncomfortable. You know/think you look good, it’s just that you are not used to the “feeling” of looking like this which gives you a bit of adrenaline. Then when someone compliments you, that feeling of awkwardness goes away and you think you are the shit. Which you are. You stepped outside your comfort zone and you did yourself proud by wearing what YOU want to wear and what YOU love.
Joshua should be using your footage for product photos of the Diego, the ones they have on the website make the boots look so much worse than they look on feet. Also, footage of the Loewe boots making me regret selling that Haider knit 👀👀

The glitter boots those were inspired but from SS16 and that was the only glitter boot that season. The ones daft punk wore were the “sugar glitter 45s” from SS13.

@@ItzSeanNL nah I also feel like to an extent certain body types pull of certain looks better. Obviously anyone can wear anything but certain cuts are meant for certain body types. I also think that a hairstyle that fits your clothing is really important. But then again if you have enough confidence none of that shit matters, look at Kerwin Frost

I remember a while back you kinda put out this question someone asked you and “Why should we care about fashion? Like at the end of the day, it’s just clothes.” And you didn’t have an answer back then. I’m sure lots of people will answer self-expression. So I wanted to expand and ask you what we should do about how fashion seems too saturated? Too many drops for brands, too much clothes, the amount that the fashion industry puts out and then goes to waste and all that. Love the channel and stay safe!

My first choice would be the standard smooth leather, I went with the pebbles (grain) leather because I already have the Dior Navigates boots in smooth leather so wanted to switch it up a tad!

The boots you meant are the Galactica Boots which are the multicolored one, the Viper ones which have a both silver and goldish look depending on light and one other pair I dont know the name of right now

What’s annoying about where i live is that no one dresses like you/I do. 80% of people where I live wear normal Walmart/Target/Marshall’s clothes and 20% wear Hypebeast shit. In your case, 80% of people where you live dress maybe not like you, but sorta kinda similar. It’s easy af to be confident dressing like this when you know people that like how it looks unlike in a place where no one knows/understands/likes any of it
