- This is probably the BEST formation for counter attacking. I absolutely love this 3-6-1 formation and tactics. Definitely something I'll try with a lesser team.

This is one of my favourite formations (along with the Arsenal formation). What's your favourite??
I tried a variation of your Liverpool formation from 2019, counter attack long ball with all out defense and aggressive. It's been netting me some ridiculous goals and it feels unbeatable defesinvely and on the counter, long ball creates so much space for attacks. Really would like to see more in long ball build up formations

Interesting insight. I setup my team to counter attack, press the opposition higher up and break down the flanks with players who are skilled and have good stamina. Results have followed.

I use 4-1-2-3 short ball and wide attack. It has helped me in online division. I also make sure I mark two of the best players out of the game,

I just switched to PES from FIFA to check it out (50% off in the store). I've been playing FIFA since 06 and always worked with slider sets developed by the community over at Operation Sports. FIFA 14 was the closest thing I've experienced to the PES gameplay. PES gameplay is what FIFA sliders have been trying to accomplish for years -- that is to say, I really like it!
I've been humbled by the new controls, but thanks to your channel for all the tutorials. Definitely improving. Getting stuck pushing FIFA commands on the skill stick but hopefully I'll learn the body feints, ball roll, heel chop, dragback, etc. soon!

I loved FIFA 14... It's been a while since a decent FIFA (FIFA98? FIFA08/09). 15 wasn't too bad but... 16,17,18,19 were unbearable. 20 is ok.... Just ok. Going in the right direction at last
One of my most exploited and powerful weapons, the counter scheme. The key is to exploit every single space available, especially in the wings. This scheme can drive you to many impressive scores if you exploit the weaknesses of the opponent, thus it is improtant to know how the opponent attacks. One brick to your wall and everything will go wrong. Your enemies are counter on counter (the opponent plays also on counters) and the slaloms of the attackers. Everything else is covered by Spoony. @@SpoonyPizzas i played 4 matches super star i won 3 and draw on one match but really i was playing so good i got 60% possession and 13 shots to 5 shots for the cpu it was so effective but i will try it soon and it was a really good plan all what u said happen in the match thanks dude ❤️❤️
3 players makes a combo + the first player (usually the center forward) who receives the ball should be able to lay off the ball, backward or to the side, with a one-touch pass. That's basically what Alex Ferguson would do for counter-attack. E.g. Arsenal v.s. ManU UCL Semi Final 2008 - 2009. I find this extremely useful with PES too.

Hello Spoony Pizzas. I watch now your videos and try to learn. I can play comfortable when I set it to Amateur. On my attempt to try Regular, the players run like bullets comparing to the real soccer when you play. I used to play soccer in Greece and indoors here in America.
What do you think it’s acceptable? Regular, amateur or the rest of them. When I play regular the players are faster than the real think.
I play at Regular level and it’s like I don’t know a think.

always play counter-atack with long pases wide, without hug the touchline...
Hay Spoony, you said you chose middle containment to stop messi going through the middle. But middle containment means the team will push the opponent towards the middle. And wide it should push the opponent towards the wings. So in theory, I think wide containment might be more suitable as barca are not really a team that favour crossing so best to maybe send them wide.
I just try for this formation is good for control the game (play as tikki-takka ) but I want to use full with counter attack too. If you have some tactics plz help me ^^ thx a lot 🙏😁
I like it. My only change would be switching Dybala and Bernardeschi, that way that opportunity at 11:00 would’ve had Dybala cutting in on his preferred R foot and curling into far post vs. Bernardeschi shooting on a narrow target with his L or just trying to shoot with his weaker (and very NOT preferred R foot). Anyway, great win. Counterattacks on PES are way more satisfying than that “other” soccer/football game. 🤣

I'd love to play a counter attacking style but in ML you hardly get 7-8 games in an entire season where the opposition actually plays a possession style. Even the smaller teams in EPL play attacking football these days. Sad to see it isn't reflected in the game.

What is the best tactics against when opponent starting to pass at back?
Just apply all out attack or attacking strategy, Gegenpress, FLP and aggressive pressing. Shouldn't need to do anything else

Good question, the striker have to be goal poachers (they like to run in behind). As for the rest...it really does depend on formation and what you're trying to achieve...how many players do you want forward? Do you want fullbacks to stay back? Do you have 2 strikes or do you have a link player? Do you have false wingers? So many things to consider really
My formation is 4-2-2-2 Argentina with fullback always in attack and DH/CMF and Two SS and Two forwarders in the same line , with front line pressure do I need active Gegenpress? How to keep defence in safe side I feel Anchor man will destroy my tactic !

Hate MyClub. No tactical ability...you're stuck once you've got a manager selected. Can't change mid game. Dislike pay to win element e.g. coins etc. Also, general lag and the game online this year is horrendous. Normally enjoy a bit of online coop, but this year it's trash online. Cheers dude

i think the supercancel is ruining the game in 2020, it super effective yet broken as the game can not determine the intent of your actions, thus this leads to alot of collisions and un-whistled fouls like in 12:20

Why only vs AI? It plays very different way comparing to humans. You can adjust your gameplay to AI, but never the less it may be useless against humans.
Hmmm ok lol. This explains how it works... How counter differs from possession...everyone has a different playstyle. I can't say if it'll work Vs AI or humans. Everyone is different and that's impossible to accommodate for
@@SpoonyPizzas but AI plays near the same way all the time, which you cant say about humans. I mean will there be tutorials with examples against humans? Your tutorials are very interesting, but AI... That makes ask a question - will this work in "real" games - against real players?

Not trying to troll just an honest OPINION, I really do not understand all the hype around this game, people calling it the "fifa killer" and all that. It LITERALLY suffers from all the same things that people complain is wrong with FIFA, if not worse in this game just on a different gameplay engine. I mean I got it on cyber monday so at least I didnt pay a full $60 for it, but I feel like I threw $30 out my car window, literally one of the worst sports games I've ever played..
No worries dude, everyone has different taste. It's not as good as 2018 or 2019 but it's marginally better than FIFA this year. It's close though.
