I just did a stage 3 on my RG. I am still breaking it in and when I am done I have to take it back in for a final dyno tune. So far I am pleased with it but I really haven't had the chance to try it out yet. I want to make sure the rings are well seated first.
I have a question. Me and my dad went to our local Harley Davidson dealer and they was telling us that if he put any kind of slip on exhaust on his bike he would need to get a tune along with a heavy breather. Then, we also went to another Harley dealer a little further from where we live in Louisiana. They said my dad can put any slip on exhaust that he wanted and he didn't say he needed any tuner or heavy breather. I am interested in hearing your opinion on the situation.
To my knowledge you can just do slip Ons and you don’t need to change anything. If you change the air intake with slip ons you will need to do a tune as well.
I was always told that Stage 1 also included changing out the head pipes? I asked our dealer to do an air cleaner, FP and Slip Ons and he asked why I would not also change the head pipe? But your bike seems to be running better and sounding great! Ride Safe
NIce work on the mods . I/E/F are the best mods to make ... They come lean from the dealer, so you will def need that tuner. I'm a little nosey myself so I kinda like to see the map, or curve, and know exactly what it is that was done. I see you have some lowers(hard) on there .... Nice...
I still like the V & H fp3 which also has auto tune for fine tuning.
Are these drag specialties brand?
Love that sound!

+Doug Morgan stage 3 is a ways off for me..lol!! Did you notice similar jumps in power from each stage or is one better than the other?
I am still breaking it in so I don't know yet.

What year bike ? ...I’m thinking about this for my 2019 Ultra Limited, thanks
That wind was insane today! I live east of Madison. It was hard to breath at times!
+RoadGlide 5-Oh it was pretty crazy out there today!! Still totally worth it though!!
Looking and sounding great!! I'm thinking of doing this in September. Thanks for this vid. Lots of great info!

Dealers will try to sell you everything in the store if you're weak.
Do slip ons increase outflow or just noise? You dont have to tune with slip ons.
From what I understand they do have a better flow. Many have smaller or better tuned baffles.

I find it remarkable that people do a stage 1 and Install slip on mufflers. Definitely penalizing yourself
