I really enjoy seeing Alex, he is such a handsome boy 🐕. I'm curious, do the ducks and chickens voluntarily return to their cage at night or do you have to round them up? Great video as always!

      Thank you so much!
I bring them in with a little pot of seeds or some leftover bread, but they are such creatures of habit that they sit by the back door in the late afternoon waiting for me to put them away with some treats! 😂

but why aren't you bottling tomatoes or making pasta sauce from the tomatoes and peppers? I'd say 1 harbenero , 4-6 tomatoes and 1-2 mild peppers ratio for preserving/ bottling/ making sauce from Plus oven or sundry tomatoes quartered, sprinkled with salt pepper oregano and thyme and sprinkled with oil 120 F for a couple of hours if oven. Your roses are lovely. Watch out for the drake they are known for raping and killing chickens. Yes, true. How old is Bruce?

You're absolutely right, that sounds delicious! We have frozen them this time round as I find that to be more flexible with how we cook them 😊
He has been a naughty boy in the past and when he is we separate him into his own area to cool off for a few days and let the hens rest. That has worked well for us so far but of course there are other options if ever it doesn't.
Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for commenting!
