For me other than Judy Gall (George) being a very good friend, the best part of hearing this song and introduction for the first time in Flin Flon was getting to hear a future Blue Rodeo song before the rest of the world. That reminded me of Neil Young’s “Live At Massey Hall 1971”, a favourite album of mine where Neil introduces some of his most famous songs like “Old Man” to very little applause because the audience had never heard them before. Listening to that I always wished I had been there back then. Now I feel I’ve had a similar experience. "Live At The Shamrock Centre 2023". What a treat!
