It's the guy who WROTE, DIRECTED, & STARRED IN The Gay And Wondrous Life Of Caleb Gallo, which is honestly probably one of the best short series shows I've ever seen, and I mean in general, not just "on UA-cam". People shouldn't scoff at UA-cam content. If the big studios can't fit you into an easily defined, and marketable-to-advertisers box, you won't get their backing, so then, you can give up, or, you can produce it yourself. :) UA-cam has given those who don't fit into the studio's often very narrow idea of what a show should be, the ability to self-produce and air their art and content. I'm psyched Brian Jordan Alvarez has joined Will and Grace, a show I've always liked, but I'm more psyched that people who come to know him because of it, might become curious about all of the great material he's written and produced so far, including his short comedy skits which are on his UA-cam channel, and his short comedy-drama series The Gay And Wondrous Life Of Caleb Gallo :)

I give a thumbs up to Brians's accent but the lisp is probably a little overdone. His delivery of the lines at 1:14 is *perfect* "Sexual tension will always exists in the prelude to a kiss. Once you have the kiss (smack smack) it is gone." The way he extends "prelude" to "preylewd" is so funny!

It’s because he probably has some actual Spanish speaking ancestry. Tv hires a good looking face that is white with some percentage of background that makes it “ok” to exaggerate the accent. It’s not a great accent. Don’t hate the character I just know he is funny and could have been used a lot more better. Maybe have him speak with his normal voice and learn some Spanish so he can say then ever so often.
He is fluent in Spanish; his mother is from Colombia. His Australian accent is also spot-on.

To me, he has created a Spanish accent based on the pronunciation of the letter z before all vowels, and of c only before e and i, as a voiceless dental fricative /θ/, English th in thing. The problem is that he applies this to almost all S. And you don't pronounce z, c (e, i) in the same way as S.
