- Hey party people! thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share this new what's for dinner video aka Wads for dinner! ayyeee I hope you enjoy the 7 amazing new recipes I tried out - I had some of my all time favorite recipes in this video!! So many easy family friendly recipes today that oh my gosh are making me drool just thinking about them. They're so good. SO GOOD especially the dessert. oh I shared 6 dinner recipes and one dessert! Love how Kim uses the juicer/whisk to juice the lime but then doesn't use the whisk to mix the marinade. Also, love what's for dinner videos. She's so funny.

I tried the Honey Chicken Cilantro Skewers 2 days after seeing this video, just not in Skewers, because ya know... living in PA, to much snow to even get to my grill right now. So we did chicken thighs browned in cast iron then finished in the oven. OMG thank you for sharing that marinade!!!! We LOOOOVED it!

Kim, I love how you always mention not using up a lot of different dishes. I absolutely love cooking but I can't stand washing dishes even though I have a dishwasher too! I'd rather clean everything in my house all day than to wash dishes lol!

Kim, a tip for the chicken scewers. If you put the marinade in a saucepan and let it boil for a couple of minutes, you have an amazing sauce for the rice and zucchini :)

@@catwmn14 I’m sure it’s fine technically, but I agree. I usually double the marinade and put half in with the meat and then simmer the other half and maybe add some cornstarch to make sauce when it’s about time to eat

I’ve learned how to make veggies taste good from watching your channel and I could cry thinking about it, but that has been a real gift in my life. Growing up, our vegetables were just corn and peas from a can, so I never learned how to cook vegetables in a way that made them appetizing. You’ve shown me how you can be healthy while also making delicious meals, AND eating plenty of brownies. Thank you so much, friend :)

so for the egg roll in a bowl you need a julienne peeler! they’re only a couple of bucks and it’s much easier then julienning your veggies with a knife. i love mine and use it way more often than i thought i would!

Hi Kim! Within the first 5 minutes you had me laughing; you didn’t want to get a knife out to cut the limes but you ended up taking one out to cut the chicken. Then, your using the juicer side of the whisk to mix together the glaze when there is a perfectly good whisk on the other side. Now, this is the kind of rationale that my family questions my kookiness. So, whenever this happens I will now say, “Well my friend Kim does it this way so it’s fine” Thanks for helping another zany girl out of jams!! Melissa

30:00 For the broccoli, cut off the tough outer skin. then use a julienne slicer if you have a set of slicers/dicers. The blade has little boxes in a row instead of ovals like a grater. the grater probably wouldn't work well given how hard the broccoli is.
