I was there. They were def on board. I honestly am curious how they edit the crowd laughter or sound because they laughed a lot at the Pablo material .
And judging from his jaw line and chin he's a mouth breather with sleep apnea, no wonder his wife is reluctant to have sex with him because soon as he's done he falls asleep and snores.
This is one of the best comics working today. He should be lifetimes more popular than he is. I've never met someone who knew of his comedy who didn't think he was absolutely hilarious
Definitely think he should be more popular but he does pretty well for himself. Comics also respect List and he's been thoroughly acknowledged by Louis C.K so that's one hell of a compliment. Didn't even have to watch him beat his meat either lmao
Around 2011-2012 I found joes album “So Far No Good” immediately obsessed and because of him I found Normand, Sam Moril, Dan Soder, and Big Jay Oakerson. I owe almost two decades of laughter to Joe List “The Truth”
I was at this taping!!! Not sure where the rest of the crowd was I couldn’t stop laughing lmao. My friend and I kept talking about the Picasso bit all night
I learnt that he wasn’t as old as I assumed by watching the sopranos and hearing uncle junior say that someone told him he looked like Picasso and he agreed after seeing a photo of him. Had no idea he was around in photo times.
Joe list has quickly become my favorite comedian. The way he crafts his jokes is so clever. Half of his punchlines are disguised inside a normal sentence. Having seen this string of bits live, I know it’s curated, but that’s all the more impressive because he makes it seem so conversational. He’s going to really blow up soon. I see huge theaters in his future. But I’ll miss seeing him in the club!
Loved the bit on the historical characters enjoying 'contemporary' things. That added some weird perspective on their lives. It feels though the crowd either knew these things or wasn't processing them. He deserved more
0:29 - I must admit I've reached out to do that exact shit to a physical page right in front of me, on one or two absolutely pathetic face-palm occasions. Shame, is what I felt...
I’ve heard the Picasso joke from the “bring it up as a premise on a podcast” to at a show at an earlier stage and it’s so cool to see the development. There’s so many more punchlines now and it’s so fleshed out and connective. Mountain Dew is hilarious! The Super Bowl is hilarious! I’m gay!
Great set, Joe! And I learned a lot of interesting facts, like that mountain dew came out in the 1940! Great points about Picasso - he had a car and saw many superbowls 🤔😀
Love Joe list. Still shocked he doesn’t have a Netflix special yet. He’s kinda well known and been doing this for so long. Maybe because he’s wife is actually a better comedian.
I love how the Museum employee just says "Pablo" 😂 It is weird thinking of historical figures overlapping into modern times. 90 years definitely sees a lot of transformation.
The audience was not on board initially but Joe List is the man. He's so effing funny he won them over.
Nah that ending joke was weird bro

Dude he has tons of jokes that are weird you gotta roll with it@@PlatinumHustle
I saw him live a few years ago and I the audience took some time to get into it
A shame his audience wasn't vibing, but he was really masterful in wrestling out their laughter anyway
You did great Joe!! That crowd suucckked, I thought Picasso was Italian too lol
I thought Picasso was so good with a hammer and chisel that he could make colors.
“Its a few more dollars to put on my pile”😂😂
Her money is heres, his money is ours;)
"Picasso had a car!" That's gold, Jerry!
Joe kills in a different way than most "don't tell" comics. He already made it
The Picaso part killed me. He even knew all the info for the time period. Awesome!
I see Joe List, I click
I think we all do.. I can depend on any video that he puts out to make me laugh hysterically!
Good comedian. I’m impressed by his level of comfort working a tough crowd.
This is one of the best comics working today. He should be lifetimes more popular than he is. I've never met someone who knew of his comedy who didn't think he was absolutely hilarious
Ok Joe calm down

I agree completely, I feel this way about fahim anwar too

Glad Joe is doing jokes again instead of low brow crowd work
Joe List is a comedic beast! It was a tough crowd, but I was laughing the whole time.
Meh 🫤 the ending got weird
@@PlatinumHustle It's just jokes, bro, you don't need to comment that the ending got weird all over the place.
@ but I did. Now what?
@@PlatinumHustle Maybe elaborate on what you thought was weird about the ending, because I have no idea what you mean.
@@korganrocks3995 ok buddy 👍🏾
Even I thought Picasso was ancient
Even *you* 😮?!!!
I thought picasson was alive between the 18th and 19th century, not spending the majority of his life through the 20th
Same. I thought he was around at the same time as Van Ghoh.
Woah! Even you!?
I learnt that he wasn’t as old as I assumed by watching the sopranos and hearing uncle junior say that someone told him he looked like Picasso and he agreed after seeing a photo of him. Had no idea he was around in photo times.
It was a gift to hear Joe try out new, funny jokes on an audience before his specials.
Fun fact: Joe Pesci's mom in Goodfellas was actually Martin Scorsese's mom in real life.
Ok raanan
Looks like someone we know
Oh shut up you’re always talking. (It sounds much nicer in Italian)
Ok Ranaan ☝️🤓
Joe List is an auto watch
Your name checks out. You are pretty dang cool.

Pablo Picasso was Spanish, but his surname WAS Italian, so you weren’t so far off, Joe!
I can never get enough of Joe Lists's standup, hilarious as always
Joe List is funny.
What an amazing 10 minutes
Joe wasnt ironically wearing a wind breaker from the 90s with a hipster drawl so it took the audience a beat to get with the program.
It's almost like some of them were not allowing themselves to laugh
@@willceurvels yeah. They're unique but not individuals. Gotta act according to the faith.
Dead crowd. You were amazing.
KING OF CONTENT!
The KOC!
Pablo 😂😂🤣🤣
JOE LIST IS OUTRAGEOUSLY FUNNY
Ouch what a tough crown, you're really good and they are ⤵️
I love that Don't Tell has big name comics and comics you haven't heard of before. Best account for stand up!
Joe List is an OG comedian. Top 10 for sure.
Top 10 ever?
Bad crowd, Joe is the biggest name Don't Tell has had and I have seen this set kill three times in the comedy cellar and gotham
Loved the bit on the historical characters enjoying 'contemporary' things. That added some weird perspective on their lives. It feels though the crowd either knew these things or wasn't processing them. He deserved more

Joe List is one of the best to ever do it! Love it!
Bro is still at the top of his game, love to see it!
That crowd did t deserve you 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

The best doing it folks! Glad the Picasso chunk is out in the world
Because Joe List, Joe List, is on my list, of the best things in life.
I ve pressed like buttons on many comedian videos simply because I knew them beforehand. ..but Joe here actually earned it. .!!!
So awesome to see the List himself on Don't Tell!!!
Still can't stop bringing up Feehan. Love this man. Almost as much as he loves Kerryn
Joe has been the best comic in the world for like 10 years now and hardly anyone knows who he is
man this was hysterical
hilarious, flawless
Don’t Tell’s Comedians:📈
Don’t tell’s crowds:📉
This might be the worst crowd. JOE LIST IS HILARIOUS
"a few more dollars!" 🤣🤣🤣
Great set, Joe! And I learned a lot of interesting facts, like that mountain dew came out in the 1940! Great points about Picasso - he had a car and saw many superbowls 🤔😀

What a beautifully crafted set from Cruisin’ Joe List, I was laughing throughout the whole thing
Incredibly impressive watching him win over the crowd by the end in just 10 minutes!

That ending was merciless dude. Why you gotta put that at the finish😂
I love Joe 💛
Fkn wonderful, bro
idk if his delivery was off or the audience was off but this deserved more laughs
joe is a killer! love his stuff!
This was unexpectedly funnier as it went on 😂
Wild history lesson 😂
What a blessing to go to a dont tell show, for which tickets are $25 in my area and you can BYOB, and see joe list
The funniest thing I’ve seen on UA-cam in a while!
Joe List a legend
Let’s Go Bruins!!!
Love Joe list. Still shocked he doesn’t have a Netflix special yet. He’s kinda well known and been doing this for so long. Maybe because he’s wife is actually a better comedian.
new favourite comedian! this was fabulous
Super funny
I love how the Museum employee just says "Pablo" 😂
It is weird thinking of historical figures overlapping into modern times. 90 years definitely sees a lot of transformation.
Joe list is a top comic
It's a good omen to start 2025 with Joe List.
"FILL ME UP YOU DORK!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
You're fucking with my head announcing Picasso's year of death; less than a decade before I was born; How was Picasso not making Nuke themed art?
That crowd suckedddd, bro was hilarious !
My favourite UA-cam channel 😂❤❤❤
The crowd must not know this is JOE LIST
pour vrai Joe List est vraiment bon!
LEGEND.
He was about 7 minutes ahead of the audience...still a fun set.
The trick with pinch to zoom is, you have to say "enhance" when you do it.
I would love to show up to a Don't Tell show and Joe List is there.
Top notch
This is S tier content Bad crowd
Jesus fucking Christ that was hilarious 😂😂😂 I love Joe List!!
