Truly authentic penmanship. The sureness of form and fluency are only enhanced by a perfect choice of tools. Musselman is really a marvel. I own only a few of them, never got to that level of fluency using them. Thank You for showing what this nib can do int the hands of a master :)
GenWivern2 Actually I only use a transparent guideline sheet I got a long time ago from PIA.. but if you go to Iampeth you can get proper guidelines for spencerian! :)
OpenInkStand Hmm. The whole business of line spacing, overall size, giving the writing room to breathe and so forth has been very much on my mind lately. Mostly I use a sheet of Rhodia with the lines strengthened as a guide - that's what? - 7mm or thereabouts? My x-height must be about 1.5mm for ordinary letter writing. I flatter myself that it's actually highly legible, but the overall appearance, single spaced, is dense rather than airy if you see what I mean. Double spaced ... it's ridiculous. ;-) Time to go back to the drawing board - literally, since I don't have a working printer at the moment - and see if I can work out something more satisfactory.
Sometimes I use the lined rhodia paper too, but I don't recommend it because it is too close together and can confuse writers. Better to buy the blank paper and make the guidelines yourself.

MrBluzzzi Thank you! The Musselman was such a pleasure to use. Too bad they're so hard to find now or else I'll be using them exclusively!
Master Schin!!! Borrow your hand?😁 just wow!😍😍😍 it just flows..so fluid.👌👏 Master indeed.😊
what type of ink and paper do you use?
Were we get that pen
What nib did you you on this?
Bravo! Thank you again.
May I ask how wide your guide lines are, please?
The lines are about 1cm apart, although they are just guidelines I happen to have. You can use any size you want as long as they are far apart.

Thanks: I've been wondering for a while what sort of scale you work on, though I'm sure you vary it to suit. That's dauntingly large!
