Outstanding mastery of the pen, one of the rare examples where the true Spencerian dynamics is not reduced to faltering imitations that are neither drawing nor writing. Easy and effortless, the way it is meant to be. Thank You.
schin, this six-minute display of skill takes my breath away in awe, gives me inspiration and then despair in that order every time I watch it. To a frustrated beginner full of aspiration this video could qualify as cruelty!
My life has been spent admiring the silent invisible functions around me, be these in nature or else in complex machines where one spends hours on end trying to diagnose major problems no one else could handle, especially in Royal Naval Ships with all their complexity.. Most problems in life exist because the rhythm is broken and the continuation of the logic is damaged either through design mistakes or material failures. For something to work efficiently including Power-stations, Ships, Planes and Hospital Equipment to operate properly, the harmony must exist . Any machine to give its best , every part must work in harmony with the rest. Some music is better than others because it contains continuity in harmony, where one note emerges and integrates with another, where the ear accepts the transfer without being disturbed. Ballroom dancing needs one to feel more than the steps and the routines and listen to the misic, though they follow what we call steps, the smoothness of the action comes from the heart of the dancers, not many can dance properly to a waltz, I have looked at this video for about ten times and my mind went to the days I maintained surgical equipment in a major hospital. If only the surgeons would have the lack of clumsiness and the total control and the ability to move so smoothly, of the hand as the lady in the video. The contents of the language message are so enhanced by the action of the writing, I seem to go back to my younger days when the dancing halls contained Waltzes and Quicksteps which I loved to dance to. Not all partners could reach a level of performance to project all that a dance and music were meant for. Well, I followed every millimetre of this hand, writing the symbols and all I can say is that I cannot diagnose one corner which does not harmonise perfectly. Though I am looking at a hand writing, this is more like an academic session not only reading the language but the manner in which it is delivered with a lady's hand dancing around to a silent music which enhance the reading and certainly warms the heart. Lines are horizontally straight, height of letters constant, the beginning and the end of words are perfect while the transfer is so well sculptured. The curves selected are not so innocent for they contain a character which can be briefly described as those curves that are contained in a female in her reproductive age with all the requirements for being provocative and tantalising without being rude. It is all there . Perfect in every way. Beautiful, and I know why. Life is complex and somehow this lady's hand is following the substance in her mind who like any female knows what it takes to make actions that people look at. It is natural behaviour applied to handwriting. A little flirting I would say, showing the frills, and very successfully done from the comments I read below. Full Marks in every way and with Distinction for every letter executed to perfection. I normally find a fault somewhere, but I tried hard and I just cannot, so my heartiest congratulations for your talent, I presume you do not drink as one can never achieve such smooth repeated perfection. There is a lot of psychology behind that handwriting, and a style that is meant to project many emotions, which it does perfectly, to those who can read all the messages, and not only the written text. There is such a lot behind those frills and curves! Congratulations. It would have been unfair on this lady to have written anything shorter than that!!!
Carmel Pule' Thanks very much, I appreciate it. I encourage you to go to Iampeth.com for more examples of Ornamental Penmanship written by the masters.
Thanks for watching? No! Thank you! This was mesmerizing! Truly awe inspiring. You said you used a Musselman Perfection nib? I am a newbie. Would you be able to share with us this set up? I have never seen a nib not at the end of a pen before. : o
davidhunternyc Thanks David, the pen is called an oblique penholder, it holds the nib at an angle so we can achieve the slant needed for pointed pen script such as Spencerian or copperplate. Real handy and you can get one for cheap these days. A musselman perfection nib is a vintage nib, pretty hard to find but very nice to use.

Haha don't worry, keep practicing and in no time you will do the same and other beginners will despair at your work :)
You are so poetic 🥴
This is one of my favorite poems
Wonderful: thank you very much!
