All the best guys. Finding the right partner in business and in life is something that happens by divine providence. I am also starting a Bolangerie in a small town in India . Own an Allio roaster still packed for the last 1 year. Taking a lot of heart from one of your podcasts as to be patient. My son is an engineer in Atlanta. Will ask him to buy some coffee for me when he visits me in Feb 2024

Years ago an old Italian man ( was a business owner) told me that partners are for two things only: (1) DANCING AND ( 2) INTERCOURSE ‼️ AND NOTHING ELSE ❗

While I agree in some regards, I think that there is also a ton of value that can be added by having a business partner with complementary skillsets. The key, however, is having very defined roles and areas of responsibility so that each person has ownership and accountability to the other. If you are interested in the dynamics within a partnership and how to help them work, I would recommend checking out the book "Rocket Fuel" by Gino Wickman and Mark Winters. It talks in depth about the relationships between partners within a business and how to leverage them.
