A good singer should be able to smoothly trick you into thinking their voice is naturally beautiful rather than manipulated by years of training. To achieve that takes not only a lot of training, but also heart and talent. Classical "training" is very easy to fake. When you can perform smoothly and seemingly without effort, then you have something that stands out from all the other sopranos out there.

I would advise you to see the "End of an era" DVD (which is also directed) & see that Tarja did not have variety at all! She was walking around like a little schoolgirl, not to mention "From wishes to eternity" that she was like an iceberg! As for "Bye bye beautiful": different video direction, theme & story! I bet Tarja would be frozen still just like "Nemo", "I wish I had an angel" & "Bless the child"! At least we agree to the vocal performance... ;)
