Nice! Looking forward to the accuracy videos. I like the 6.5 Grendel. I plan on getting one eventually in a bolt action in either the Ruger or the mini Howa
I understand you're attachment to an obscure cartridge. Mine is the 338 federal and yeah, it is a savage. Looking at the ballistics on the 6.5-284 you used I'm getting more performance out of my7mm08. Hand loads of course
I was skipping around but a bore sight may save ammo. I usually pull the bolt and look down the barrel to adjust the scope in the beginning at around 20 yds to get it on paper and usually pretty close to save guessing and ammo. Especially when you said you switch out scopes a lot.
Awesome I completely agree 6.5 G is flat awesome. Its my "favorite deer rifle" (video my channel) Im waiting for this gen II in 400 Legend. I have only Gen I guns so far. I swap scopes around also. (Until I find perfect fit.) Good video man new viewer here.
Great video 👍 I just ordered the same rifle Ruger 46942 and I'm thinking the same scope ( primary arms 4-14x44) and was wondering what height scope rings you were using. I have a couple of low profile rings ( .85") and hope I have enough clearance. I have a Gen 1 in .308 with a Magpul hunter stock and an arken scope and it's a great rifle. When I saw the Gen 2 in 6.5 Grendel with the improvements , just had to get one.
Very much appreciated 🙏. I'm pretty sure they were medium height but ill have to double check. I did several videos with the magpul stock on my gen 1 in 6.5 grendel and it never functioned. I'm glad to hear the 308 didn't have that issue. I hope you enjoy your new grendel!

I definitely need to get a bore sight lol
After shooting 6mm ARC I stopped using my 6.5 Grendel. I'd love to try Gen 2❤
Awesome

@@Spidermonkey2a thank you 👍
You're welcome
Nice rig. I think it will be a good one 👍👍
Spidermonkey2A. Good video. Nice gun and shooting. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Very much appreciated 🙏
Are you going to put a suppressor on your RA Gen2?
If so, which one would you prefer?
I will not be. I honestly don't do anything with suppressors.
Do your zero off camera. Nice to see the gun function though.
I waited and waited to see the target and it never happened

Shooting off the tailgate with no rear bag doesn't equate to accuracy.
If every time I shot a rifle I had perfect conditions or setups then I'd be a very happy man. Thanks for watching
@@Spidermonkey2a A shooter must minimize error.
Accomplished what I set out to do.... guess it worked out this time
