The biggest problem of Indian Sports wheather its Football,Cricket,Hockey& Especially wrestling is the inclusion of Politics in the sports.The Board of Control for Cricket in India/ BCCI's Secretary is the son of the honourable Home minister of India. And last year , India was on the verge of getting banned by FIFA due to the inclusion of politics in the football administration. If I'm correct, we did get banned by FIFA for tge the exact same reason.And with wrestling, this political situation is a big problem. Last month(Dec 2023) an Olympic medalist had to hang up her boots because of this.India is spending money on other things but the government is not considering the fact that India has the 17% of world youths and has been flopping at the Asian stage itself. Imagine India in any group in 2026 World cup and India will get battered with much humiliation. Lastly as an Indian student , I don't see the effective implementation of AIFF's Vision 2047 as the majority of Indian Parents give importance to studies rather than pursue a career in Sports/Arts. If it gotta work, then the basic mentality of Indian parents need to change. Last day I read an article which said that AIFF has requested to the government to accept the dual nationals as you said

The latter will expose the Blue Tigers to better competition. 🇮🇳 right now is nowhere near good enough to qualify for a WC.
The dual-nationals being banned from representing India is ridiculous. Every other team in the world usually has a handful of guys that were born in one country but eligible to play for another.

You can actually change football association without changing the nationality. So someone with OCI should be able to play for India, but AIFF and FIFA should approve that, that's the criteria. Like in this asian cup we got 8 players from europe to represent us and it worked. We reached the knockout stage. In the next WCQ match theres also 3-4 new players that will start represent us.
