  • First of all, thank you to all of you that placed parts orders through our shop. We appreciate it very much as it helps us get things going and keeps us able to make content for you all.
    Here's a quick video of me riding at Rivers Edge Outdoors once again, but with a few things done to the Kove. I also share some thoughts (Rambling) on what's "necessary" and what is affordable and makes a significant difference to the bike. The Kove is proving to be quite the platform!
    If you wish to order from RMATV through our shop, please email a screen shot of your order to:
    EnduroactioncyclesLLC@gmail.com
    I am developing a website to make orders a bit easier. The graphic designer I was working with keeps pushing the project back, so I guess I'll do it myself!
    We are also a SXS Slideplates dealer and have some inventory in stock ready to ship! Just ask about it!

    Thanks for you thoughts and impressions on different mods so far. I've decided on installing the race exhaust and ECU remap, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do for the timing key and gearing yet. I'm leaning toward sticking with the stock gearing because I plan to do some longer trips like BDRs with the bike.

      I think you should be just fine with only the race ecu flash and exhaust. It's going to be very smooth and still have enough torque to get you where you need to be

    Nice video, thanks! And beautiful paths, similar to those we have here, in the Italian Prealps.

      Thank you! I find that hard to believe, Italy is such a beautiful country. The east coast of the US, not so much!

    Thanks for posting some SE single track with the lovely clay thrown in. I was impressed how easy you make it look on a 300# bike!

    where the heck are folk mounting garmin etc? is there an aftermarket bar that has been made yet for above the speedo? i use my bars on my 500 but i would hate to do the same seeing as there is actually a screen on this

      There's several aftermarket bar mounts and an upgraded tower you can buy for maybe 90 bucks. It has a ram ball mount and gps above the screen. It is made of aluminum as well

    Although you sold your Kove: what ECU/mapping did you have. Off-the-shelf Pro ECU, or custom?

      As for the clicker settings, I went in on the rebound and out on the compression. I can not remember the exact amount of clicks and I no longer have this specific bike. I have sold all used inventory to pick up a new brand. More info on that next month if it all works out!

    Amazing video just like the other ones you did! It would be great if you could put your clickers adjustement values here please? Coming from big ADV bikes, I thing I will have to make it more plush in the beginning... I'm 6"3 and 100kilos all geared up. Thanks!

      Sure I'll post them here in a few days. Very busy this weekend and won't have time to play with the 450 rally. I will say it might be a bit off because I am around 40 pounds lighter which is a significant different but I'll try to get some good setting for you!

    Do you think the timing key may reduce reliability/increse engine wear in the long term? Maybe because the engine is working or revving harder... i dont know.
    I think I will go for the 51 sprocket instead of the timing key to improve the torque down low a little bit, and thats all. Thanks for all the info buddy!

    • @EnduroActionCyclesLLC
      @EnduroActionCyclesLLC  8 місяців тому

      Starting off with the 51t sprocket is a great Idea!
      I don't think the timing key will affect anything in terms of longevity. It just gets to the power quicker, now how long you stay in the upper rpms is base on the rider! I'd say people racing and holding WOT will have to worry about increased maintenance regardless of having the timing key or not as that, in my opinion, has more of a factor on longevity and maintenance. Most mortals will still ride around in midrange with the key anyway.
      Hope that helps!

    Oh, and I don't know if you said in the video, but did the throttle get smoother at low speed / low gear after doing all the mods?

    • @EnduroActionCyclesLLC
      @EnduroActionCyclesLLC  8 місяців тому +1

      Throttle indeed got smoother and less stall prone. I'm used to riding 2 strokes all the time which is why I stall once or twice in this ride. That was my fault not the bikes

    • @inrptn
      @inrptn 8 місяців тому

      @@EnduroActionCyclesLLC That's great to hear! I'm coming from a KLX 300 which is almost like a 2 stroke, that thing never stalls, haha.
