A very interesting fact: GoodTimes Entertainment was folded into GT Media in 2007 and one of the first products they released was a countertop grill called the GT Xpress.
This was an amazing choice for a refurbished logo evolution, Cam! GoodTimes Entertainment has some gosh darn amazing logos. My favorite logo from GoodTimes would have to be the 1990-2000 one due to the synth tune and CGI. I'll definitely be looking forward to the Digital Cinema Media logo evolution as it has one of my favorite logos. Good video!
Well, now is a GoodTime to post this comment! I have 2 weird thoughts on the last logo. The animation and stuff is pretty good, but there are other things I'm concerned about. 1. Why is the water black? It kinda looks like black paint or an oil spill 2. There is lots of steam coming out of the water, and how is the water evaporating pretty quickly? This was a pretty nice episode to be completely honest, and I didn't expect GoodTimes Entertainment to survive for 23 years! I thought it lasted 1996-2009 but its surprising! Also, I can't wait for episode 57!!! Thanks for showing us your hard work! 😁
Hello hello, the person from the end of this video here. I did get a shoutout from him back in the day when I helped him out, but I soon after asked him to remove my shoutout from the description (which by the way, was not the channel I am commenting this on) to basically hide the fact that I even associated with him in the first place. I'd tell more, but this comment section (nor any place for that matter) is not my place to do it, heh. Thought I'd say this 2 years after my departure.
Good Times Entertainment's fairy tale movies is a very ripoff of Disney movies we love but the way they release good public domain cartoons like Casper, Tweety Bird, Popeye and more and classic black and white movies and specials like The Three Stooges, Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz and more they're amazing. My parents brought me a Good Times Entertainment VHS of Casper and I immediately fall in love with it. I was a little toddler girl in the mid to late 90s at the time.
They also released The Baby-Sitters Club series of videocassettes which were marketed to girls and did contain the GoodTimes Home Video Logo (Filmreel variation) intact I have 3 of these The Baby-Sitters Club Video #5 - The Baby-Sitters Special Christmas The Baby-Sitters Club Video #6 - Claudia and the Missing Jewels The Baby-Sitters Club Video #7 - Dawn and the Dream Boy The Scholastic Productions logo appears after it
I actually don't mind the rainbow logo. The early one is kind of charming to me in a way. The second verse of the rainbow has music I like. Both the second GoodTimes logo and the 4th one has nice music, too. I can totally see why the 3rd logo was your favorite too.
EVERY Peter Rabbit fan knows the 2nd logo! I also know the 3rd logo from Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer & The Island Of Misfit Toys, an actually underrated three/four-quel to Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.
It really sucks that this company was given lots of crap. They definitely didn't deserve any of the crappy shows they got when they have such good logos!
I saw some rip-off videos you were talking about. But the company is also known to release cartoons on videos that have entered the public domain. For examples: Tweety bird and friends. And Bugs bunny and friends.
Goodtimes Home Video has been always will be my childhood. I grew up watching their animated movies and they are WAY BETTER than Disney. And when I heard that Disney sued Goodtimes, I was pissed and I'm still am to this day. I even heard that Universal Studios wanted purchase and help Goodtimes with their financial problems and getting them out of bankruptcy, but when Disney found out, they threatened to sue Universal Studios for helping out Goodtimes. That's why I HATE Disney so much. They took away my childhood and believing their lies. Goodtimes Home Video will be in heart, and my animated movie of theirs is the 1994 version of Cinderella since I mostly grew up watching with my sister and it's more canon to Charles Perault's original story than Disney's. Plus these movies were more family friendly than Disney's and yet no one cared, except for us true fans of Jetlag Productions
Great. It was nice to see some “behind the scenes” stuff before this came out. 0:22 How did you do that *SO* perfectly? Also VPJHuk’s channel isn’t in the description like you promised
One of the only ones I recall is the "Watertimes" logo, & I've only ever seen it in one place: the opening to 1995's "All About Fire Engines". (however the DVD I have which has All About Fire Engines on it is a reissue from 2005, given that Goodtimes didn't use that logo in 1995) Kinda sad actually that the company went under, but at least there are I believe a few companies that still own all their media & everything. (be interesting to know if they kept the Goodtimes logo on newly-released DVDs & such even if the name itself is no longer used elsewhere) Another one I recall is the "Skytimes" one, seen very briefly in a promo for "Dinotopia: Quest For The Ruby Sunstone". The promo was unskippable as I recall & not giving a dang about the movie I was all "Come on, get this stupid promo over with so I can enjoy me some fire trucks!". The DVD actually included both Goodtimes Entertainment's All About Fire Engines as well as Hard Hat Harry's Construction Equipment For Kids. Kind of an odd bundle if you ask me. (now that I've taken a look I've actually got FOUR Goodtimes DVDs, 2 marked as "Goodtimes Entertainment" & dated 2005, & 2 marked "GTMedia: A Gaiam Company" & dated 2006. All are "All About"-series DVDs, most having Hard Hat Harry episodes on them with the exception of "All About Fire Engines" & "All About Airplanes") You know, because I think they were a good company that should have continued on as well as their very memorable Watertimes logo, (to me at least) maybe I oughta consider bringing back the name as part of my future company, at least if the current owner(s) will let me. (though I was also planning on giving my company a media division named something else. Eh, I'm sure I'll figure it all out eventually)
5:19 - Taken from a 1990 VHS of “Peter Pan” with Mary Martin 5:30 - Taken from a 1991 VHS of “March of the Wooden Soldiers” (Colorized Version) with Laurel & Hardy. 2:33 - Taken from “Rock, Rock, Rock” with the copyright text at the bottom.
*I swear,, if this guy does a logo history on BNDgital, I'm done, I'm discovering more logos that are creepier. I must stop, but I love the series. If CCG88 replies, I would be really happy, despite that BND makes TV shows, oddly strange.
It's kinda weird despite that BND is a really scary logo to many people, I have seen the BNDgital logo before. But I dont know what it was I saw it on Evologo. I never knew that BND was a company.
My Thoughts on the Good Times logos since I am not familiar with them. The First Good Times logo: I like the music for the first Good Times logo it fits that 80’s era very well. Plus the colors is very 80’s! The Good Times Logo in the later year: The music sounds very futuristic with the synth! I wasn’t a big fan of the erupt end, but it’s not Good Times fault. I think if they chose different music for the logo it would sound nice. Second Good Times Logo: I enjoy the music for the second one. It looks very nostalgic & I like the whooshing sound it sounds very soothing. I liked the one variant with the Three Stooges! The Third Good Times Logo: I like the colors of this logo. I kind of like the transition of the sky being light blue to almost evening/sunset. Plus I like how Good Times kept it simple with no music but what would it sound like if it did have music ? I liked the choir one the best! The fourth Good Times logo: I actually think this might be my favorite one from Good Times. I love the color scheme of this logo, the music is so good & not to in your face, I also like the logo going into the water & emerging from the water surrounded by smoke!
I think I watched the Good Times Rudolph movie at a day program for people with special needs (I'm autistic) and I didn't like it at all! It was pretty bad
A very interesting fact: GoodTimes Entertainment was folded into GT Media in 2007 and one of the first products they released was a countertop grill called the GT Xpress.

My favorite logo of this is (1985-1990)
My favorites are 1997-2007 and 1998-2007 DVD
My favorite is the 1990-2000 and 1997-2005

Flowie48 Nice pun, BTW.
The water is blue, its just the black background that makes it look black.
Now that was Punny!
I first saw this good Times Logo from Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol dvd
Which one?
Very nice! I've always found GoodTimes an interesting company, and all their logos are pretty decent.
Yeah they have really good logos and almost all of them are my favorites.

The Scholastic Productions logo appears after it

SVT Home Video (1984-2000)
SVT Entertainment (1994-2007)
SVT Media (2007-present)
12:44 Yes!! I Adore This Company, I've Wanted This To Release So Much!

I actually don't mind the rainbow logo. The early one is kind of charming to me in a way. The second verse of the rainbow has music I like.
Both the second GoodTimes logo and the 4th one has nice music, too.
I can totally see why the 3rd logo was your favorite too.
I saw GoodTimes' fourth logo on my Popeye DVD.
EVERY Peter Rabbit fan knows the 2nd logo! I also know the 3rd logo from Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer & The Island Of Misfit Toys, an actually underrated three/four-quel to Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.
I think I saw that once at a day program for special needs children and I remember not liking it very much
It really sucks that this company was given lots of crap. They definitely didn't deserve any of the crappy shows they got when they have such good logos!

Great. It was nice to see some “behind the scenes” stuff before this came out.
0:22 How did you do that *SO* perfectly?
Also VPJHuk’s channel isn’t in the description like you promised
It was very fiddly, but I animated the text moving up every 0.15 seconds for about 2 seconds. That alone took about 20 minutes.

My favourite - 1,2,4
Least favourite - 3
The second logo sounds familiar
I’m Scared!
I'm sorry but 3 is my least favourite because I find the animation a bit off and there's no music.
Ok
