00:10 Method 1. Repair Windows apps and Windows Defender
o On Powershell(admin), copy and paste the command below and hit enter:
Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
01:42 Method 2. Reinstall Windows Defender
o Open the registry, then go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender
o Then delete the Windows Defender folder, restart the PC, and recheck it.

o Allow antimalware service to startup with normal priority. DISABLED
o Turn off Windows Defender Antivirus. DISABLED
Now, go back to the Windows Defender Antivirus, navigate and double-click Client Interface.
o Enable headless UI mode. DISABLED

o Virus and Threat Protection area. DISABLED
Open cmd (admin): gpupdate /force

o Restart Computer

I have never ever commented on videos over UA-cam but you actually deserve one. I've been trying to get my windows Security page back since a couple of months now. But nothing worked. I reinstalled clean windows and tried every possible solution by watching 100's of youtube videos but nothing worked. I’ve tried all solutions, nothing worked, my windows security shows the green check mark but I cannot access it. I want to try solution number 6 which is just get a new windows but I don’t see the link to the video as you mentioned?
That’s not to get a new windows but to make an in place upgrade. More like updating all the windows components while retaining the data.

Nothing worked for me.. unfortunately. I also performed in-place upgrade for which i followed the steps you provided in your other video linked in the description... But that didnt work either??🙂
Basically when i try to open windows security it shows a black screen and it also shows the green check mark in windows security symbol but i cant access it.
I think maybw i should perform a fresh install of windows?? Pls help... :(
I believe that’s the only solution left for you. Do a fresh install. I’m sure it will fix all the present issues. Update me how it went.
@@tanzTalks.tech2 I didnt have to freshly install windows. Turns out that the security health setup file inside system32 security health folder was empty, which shouldnt have been empty. Thats the reason why the windows security screen was blank and totally unaccessible.
Its fixed now. but my question is shouldnt it have been detected when running sfc /scannow? becuase this file was missing?

You are not able to perform in place upgrade? If that’s the case then you will have to do a fresh install of Windows. Take a backup of all your important data and perform fresh install

@@tanzTalks.tech2 If the issue is caused by a Windows update then surely an in-place update will merely repeat the issue. I tried each of your suggestions, including the in-place update and the issue remains. Defender is clearly running but each option opens to either a blank page or Page not available etc
