Several years ago I had a ( second hand) BMW R1150GSA it had New Bridgestone tyres fitted, they were good in the dry but never had confidence in them in the wet, half way through there life I changed them for Maxxis Detours and they were a huge improvement, my current bike a 2002 Triumph Trophy 1200 has Michelin Road 6 and the car has Maxxis all seasons and have had no problems with either of them.
@@stephenperry9425 . Thanks for your comment .I have used Michelin Road 5 s and they are good . I expect the 6 to be better . But they don't come in sizes to fit the Tiger 1200 . Pity that .
I have often found Metzeler front tyres go out of shape very quickly. They work well until that point, but it is a small window. On the race track, I liked Pirelli / Metzeler. Their race tyres work well in a reasonably wind range of conditions. On the road I have two choices of tyre on modern bikes. Michelin, as although they are expensive you get what you pay for. The second is what ever cheep shit I can get my hands on to keep the bike on the road.

A tyre thread is almost as dangerous as an oil thread.
